日本語訳が知りたいです。 Unlike other carbohydrates, fiber cannot be digested easily. For this reason, fiber gives us very little energy, but it is necessary to keep our body healthy : it is important because it helps move human waste through our digestive system.

Dietitians in Japan recommend that 50 to 70 percent of our energy comes from carbohydrates. Most of those calories, though, should come from starches, because eating sugars causes our blood sugar to rise rapidly. Unlike other carbohydrates, fiber cannot be digested easily. For this reason, fiber gives us very little energy, but it is necessary to keep our body healthy : it is important because it helps move human waste through our digestive system.

Consider, for example, that the existence of a single human thought requires the highly complex interaction of hundreds of neurons. In order to separate mind from brain, it would be necessary to think of each neuron as something distinct from its function, which is a little like trying to separate the seawater that provides the substance of an ocean wave from the energy that gives the wave its shape and motion. The existence of the wave requires both elements: without energy, the wave would fall flat; without water, the wave energy would have no expression. In the same sense, it is not possible to separate individual neurons from their functions; if it were possible, then a thought could be feed from its neurological base, and the mind could be seen as something separate from the brain, a free-floating consciousness that could be considered a “soul “.

If it is a matter of right answers,as it may be in mathematics or science, give him the answer book. Let him correct his own papers. Why should we teachers waste time on such routine work? Our job should be to help the child when he tells us that he can't find the way to get the right answer. Let's end all this nonsence of grades, exam, marks. Let us throw them all out,and let the children learn what all educated persons must some day learn, how to measure their own understanding, how to know what they know or do not know.

You will need to prepare a small foot warmer or a hot-water bottle to warm yourself when you enter the air-raid shelter at our house, because it is very cold inside. A blanket is also necessary. Make sure you take matting, too. I really feel sorry for you, hearing how your hands get cold and cracked because of the cold weather and water in winter. Whenever you use water, make sure you dry your hands thoroughly and then rub them until they get warm. These are letters written from a battlefield by a husband to his wife in Tokyo during World War II. The writer of these letters was Lieutennant General Tadamichi Kuribayashi, a commander on Iwoto. He wrote these letters from the battlefield, which was burnt like a sea of fire by the US forces. Iwoto is a small flat island of 23.16 km^ that lies some 1,250 km distant from Tokyo. It is a barren island with no rivers or ponds. However, it was one of the hardest-fought battlefields of World War II.

ゼミで社会運動論を学んでいます。次回の文献が英文となり、どうしても旨く日本語訳できません。日本語訳を教えてください。 Anarchism, in the standard accounts, usually comes out as Marxism's poorer cousin, theoretically a bit flat-footed but making up for brains, perhaps, with passion and sincerity. Really the analogy is strained. The "founders" of anarchism did not think of themselves as having invented anything particularly new. The saw its basic principle-mutual aid, voluntary association, egalitarian decision-making-as as old as humanity. The same goes for the rejection of the state and of all forms of structural violence, inequality, or domination [anarchism literrally means "without" rulers]-even the assumption that all these forms are somehow related and reinforce each other. None of it was seen as some startling new doctrine, but a longstanding tendency in the history human thought, and one that cannot be encompassed by any general theory of ideology. On one level it is kind of faith: a belief that forms of irresponsibility that seem to make power necessary are in fact the effects of power itself. In practice though it is a constant questioning, an effort to identify every compulsory or hierarchical relation in human life, and challenge them to justify themselves, and if they cannot-which usually turns out to be the case-an effort to limit their power and thus widen the scope of human liberty. Just as a Sufi might argue that anarchism is the urge for freedom behind all political ideologies. Schools of Marxism always have founder. Just as Marxism sprang from the mind of Marx, so we have Leninists, Maoists,, Althusserians... [Note how the list starts with heads of state and grades almost seamlessly into French professors- who, in turn, can spawn their own sects: Lacanians, Foucauldians....]
