回答ありがとうございます。 「血を流せば」は「いきものなら」と言う意味なんですね。 joinが見方になるという解釈だと後の「あとの偉大なものにする」と言う文にも つながるのでいい訳だと思いました。 文法と訳文、大変参考になりました。
