On radio play charts STP's new single “Out of Time” did not have a label listed during its first month of airplay but now ‘STP/ADA’ is listed as the label, with STP having their self-released music distributed though the Alternative Distribution Alliance. This is similar to Pearl Jam releasing Backspacer through their own Monkeywrench Records but having it distributed by Target in the United States and Universal Music Group worldwide. Weiland told The Pulse Of Radio that he and Bennington were good friends before this, but he doesn't see Bennington's move as a betrayal. "Yeah, I mean, I've known Chester for a long time," he said. "I got to be pretty close with him on the Family Values tour. I don't think Chester did it in a spiteful way. The brothers DeLeo [Dean, guitar and Robert, bass], they can be pretty persuasive."
