My drunk girlfriend woke me up to tell me she loves me
- Today, I was woken up by my drunk girlfriend calling me and saying how much she loves me. She then stopped to tell the guy she was in bed with to be quiet because I might hear him.
- I was surprised when my drunk girlfriend called me in the morning to express her love for me. However, my surprise turned into confusion when she abruptly stopped talking and asked the guy she was in bed with to be quiet.
- In an unexpected wake-up call, my intoxicated girlfriend professed her love for me. However, she quickly interrupted herself to hush the guy who was beside her in bed, fearing that I might overhear him.

こんにちは。 下の英文で疑問に思ったことがあります。 （はじめに前文の内容を書いておきます） 私は、そのチンパンジーに木の実を差し出した。 そのチンパンジーは指を私の手にからめ、私の目を見つめた。 彼は、私から木の実を受け取ると、それを地面に落とした。 From the way he looked, it was easy to tell that he didn`t want the nut, but he wanted to thank me for that. この英文を訳すと 「彼の目つきから、彼は木の実をほしいのではないが、そのことについて私に感謝したがっていた、ということを伝えるのは容易だった」 となると思うのですが、この英文ではtellの後に直接that節がきています。tell me thatといったようにする必要があると思うのですが、 どうなのでしょうか？ また、もしこのままの形で良いならば、英文中でよく使われるのでしょうか？教えていただければ幸いです。よろしくお願いします。

ある英作文問題集の問題の１つにおいてなのですが、 「少し離れてから、ふと振り返ると、父親が息子に何か言い聞かせていた。”知らない人と話してはいけない”といっているようだった。」 という文章の英訳の回答の一つに When I walked on a little and looked back, the father was telling the son something. It seemed that he was telling that he should not talk to people he didn't know. というのがありましたが、2番目のtellの使い方に少々違和感を覚えたので自分でも調べたところ、tellは第3文型もとるがthat節はとらない、というのが得られた答えでした。自分なりにはtellの後ろにその対象であるthe sonが省略されているのかなぁ、そこは省略できるのかなぁ、などと思っても見ましたが、どうも納得できませんでした。 このような使用方法がtellには可能なのか、ご回答のほどよろしくお願いします。
