呼ばれてないけど出てきました。 hold と lift は名詞です。それらを catch する。 the hold and lift という言葉を見たことはないでしょうか？ 積極的に関わる（がんばる）というような意味です。 あなたの訳は間違っていません。 直訳する必要はありませんので。

hold だけ名詞で catch hold と lift という動詞が and でつながれている可能性もありますが， おそらく，catch, hold, lift という動詞をコンマをつかわず，標語的につなげているような気がします。 標語的というのも，特に辞書に出ているような熟語でもない。 「とらえて，つかんで，もちあげる」でものごとを進めていく，頼まれごとを引き受ける のような意味に感じられる。 そういう標語的なまとまりだから，本来，すべて他動詞だけども目的語が置かれていない。 to の後（副詞 cheerfully をはさんで）動詞の原形がくるはずですが， どことなく，名詞的な感覚。
