My big TV appearance last night on AxsLive went well. It's fun making fun of celebrities. Not sure if anyone watched it though!

I think it's great they are moving on. I have not watched this guy sing yet but I know they would not pick a slouch. He's going to have a hard time filling Scotts shoes. But I wish them all well.

CoreurpletinyNo4ShangriY posted this review on BelowEmpty.com of Scott Weiland's show last night at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey: “Also, I just got home from this show. Before they went on, I ran into Tommy Black (bassist). He is a genuinely nice guy, and very cool. Said I looked familiar from the other NJ shows. The opening act was very good as well. Pleasently surprised. 30 or so minutes after scheduled time, the Wildabouts came out and, Scott was out of it. I can guarantee he was in another universe. I think he fell offstage at one point. Not sure if he did it on purpose or not. Scott did get the crowd into it though, and the songs were rockin’. The Wildabouts have definitely improved.

There's been a lot of times though in the band situation where there's been some deep wounds. Like that press conference they put together in 1996, after canceling three shows. The same stuff was going on with certain members of the band, that I was doing at that time. That was that time, I'm not making an excuse for it, it was a horrible time in my life. As well there were a lot of great things going on in my life, but that part of it was miserable. But I don't think at all that there needed to be a press conference to out me publicly, that was my own business.

It's not as if any of those influences weren't automatically obvious to anyone at least vaguely familiar with STP's catalog. He continues on, though, filling in the blanks as to when and how such oratory experimentation surfaced and it becomes apparent that change and musical exploration have never been something that Weiland shied away from. (This is a man, after all, that performs many of his hit songs through a megaphone live.)

PAL or NTSC is not an issue anymore any modern DVD player will play both I should know even though England is a Pal region we play NTSC all the time which is handy because all the big HBO shows are NTSC. there was the DVD which was not watched in PAL(I am not sure what you mean but could it be a faulty disc?).

何だかんだ言って、私は主治医に死期宣告されようと何だろうと、骨髄移植ドナーが現れるのをひたすら待ちます。あなたが好きだから、やっぱり死にたくないんです。 Believe or not, I would never give up waiting a bone marrow donor's offer even though my doctor told me how long my life last. It's because I love you and I dont want to die. 英会話教室で訳していただいた文章です。 日本語に沿う文章になっていると良いのですが・・・。 よろしくお願い致します。

"Look, man, anyone can go online and be what they call a 'hater' or have an opinion and that goes in many different directions. We're just really trying to do something that feels good and not only honors the catalog of what we have but moving forward musically. "Looking at the last 10 years of STP, not much has gotten done and that's very, very frustrating to live with. I don't want the next 10 years of life to be like that. I want the next 10 years to be great and we contribute or at least try to contribute really valid music. It's really what I got into this for — to write the best songs I can write."

I have never been in a rock band. I cannot pretend to understand the pressures of fame or the demands such a career can thrust upon the human psyche. But I do know a thing or two about alcoholism and the weapon of mass destruction it is to anyone caught in its path. I watched my own father drink himself to death as everyone around him scattered for cover. His loved ones pleaded with him to quit. Doctors told him he would die. He listened to no one nor did he care of the fallout he would ultimately inflict. Alcoholics make a choice every time they take a drink. It's not as if they are in a scene from the Deer Hunter every time they put alcohol to their lips – a metaphoric Christopher Walken seated in a dank room with the Viet Cong holding a gun to his head forcing him to play Russian roulette with a shot glass. It's not like that. Alcoholics drink of their own volition. But their actions impact everyone around them with the emotional force of a thermonuclear blast. They choose alcohol over you. And it hurts.
