ナルニアの本の英文がわからない！？読み方や翻訳について教えてください！
- 子供用のナルニアの本を読んでいますが、英文が理解できず困っています。文法や翻訳方法について教えてください。
- 具体的には、本の中で使われているフレーズについて質問があります。例えば、「To be sure, to be sure.」はどのような意味で使われているのか知りたいです。
- また、文中の「How you have come into Narnia?」のような表現は疑問文ではないと思っていたのですが、正しいのでしょうか？さらに、「That is to say---」という表現も意味がわかりません。

ナルニアの本の英文がわかりません。
今、子供用のナルニアの本を読んでます。文法がわからなく、訳もよくできません。 教えていただけますと助かります。 １０ページ目で、 1, "To be sure, to be sure." と言っているんですが、こんなふうにネイティブは使うんですか？ ２、 "How you have come into Narnia?" Howの後って疑問文じゃないんでしょうか普通？ ３、"I've never seen a son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve before. I am delighted. That is to say---" この文の That is to say---って何なんでしょうか？？？ よろしくお願いします。

1, "To be sure, to be sure." と言っているんですが、こんなふうにネイティブは使うんですか？ to be sureだけなら現代の英語でも見かける普通の表現です。これを重ねる ことにより、 Faunという妖精？の癖あることばとして表現されています。 Good evening, good eveningとも言っていますね。Faunはこういう言葉遣いをするんだというわけです。 ２ "And may I ask, O Lucy Daughter of Eve," said Mr. Tumnus, "how you have come into Narnia?" この箇所ですか？ " .... ," said Mr. Tumnus, "how you have come into Narnia?" ですね。つまり、said Mr. Tumnusが間に挿入されている文です。howが小文字で始まっていることからもわかります。 →And may I ask how you have come into Narnia? これは間接疑問文です。従ってhow以下は平叙文の語順となります。 ３、"I've never seen a son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve before. I am delighted. That is to say---" この文の That is to say---って何なんでしょうか？？？ that is to sayは常套句です。that is だけでも同じ意味を持ちます。 ナルニアの7巻読破してみましょう。とても面白いですね。 ちなみに、聖書が下敷きになっている本です。a son of Adamとはアダムの末裔→人類、場合によっては、第1のアダムは罪を犯し、第2のアダム（イエス・キリスト）は罪をあがなうということも関係しています。

That a man's business, be it of any kind, must be done, and done promptly, is a truth acknowledged universally. という文ですが、 (1)be it of any kindはeven if be of any kind の倒置と省略が行われているとまではわかりましたがなぜ「is」でなく「be」なのかがわかりません。おそらくあとに続く文が「must be」だからでしょうか？だとしたらいつも必ずそういうふうになるのでしょうか？ (2)That ～is a truth acknowledged universally.という構文ですが、このThatの名詞節についてなんですが、Thatを先頭につければ「～ということ」のように名詞節になり、主語になるのですか？ よろしくお願いします

長文で大変申し訳ございませんが、正確な訳を知りたいので、英語がお得意で、お時間がおありの方、以下の英文をどうか訳して下さい。お願い致します。 Do you have any plans for touring the US? I have this strange dream of you performing in America. As kind of a follow-up, I was inquiring about the cost of renting a local theatre, the Orpheum. I was told that the rental fee is approximately $1000 per day, plus a small percentage of ticket sales. The theatre holds 1400, so at a charge of $10 per ticket, we would stand to make at least $10000 profit, because the ushers and ticket-takers are provided at no extra cost. What I am uncertain about is whether there would be enough tickets sold to make the whole project worthwhile. I then had the thought that if I could book one theatre for this purpose, why not more theatres in other cities? I have absolutely no experience in showbiz, but I think it would be an interesting sideline. Also, you have that angelic quality that I think American audiences would love! What I was wondering was if you would require a flat fee, or if you'd be willing to take a chance on a percentage of the pr ofits. This way, we could all either make alot of money, or we could all go broke together! I honestly don't foresee this happening, because I would book the theatre a long time in advance, and make sure the tickets are sold. 「この本は面白いに違いない。」という表現は普通「This book must be interesting.」となりますが、『be sure』を使って「This book is sure of being interesting.」とか「This book is sure to be interesting.」という表現にはならないのでしょうか？
