２つ意味のつかめない文があるので教えてください。 (1)It was just dumb luck that I'd decided to give the program a shot.という文章ですが、意味がつかめません。dumb luckは辞書で「まぐれ」と書いてあったのですがこの文章を書いた人はそのプログラムを試すことを決めたことをよかった（幸運だった）と思ってるのでしょうか。それとも単に適当に決めたと言いたいのでしょうか。 (2)Have you ever had spontaneous events happen that turns out better than what you planned? ある出来事が予定してたよりも結果的によかったという経験はある？ということですか？

Is it all right to take tomorrow off as leave because I have an interview that day? この文 Is it ～～～～because I have an interview on that day? でも 同じ文なのではないのでしょうか？ また Is it all right to take tomorrow off as leave because I have an interview at that day? でも 「～ だって僕は、そのころ、面接があるんだから。」と取れるので、これも可能な英文ではないのでしょうか？ なら on that day , that day, at that day の違いがわからなくなりました。 辞書で例文をみても・・・・・イマイチ はっきりわかりません。 よろしくお願いいたします。
