英文の構造が解らないので教えてください
今朝の毎日新聞の朝刊に載っていた、福大商学部の英語の問題にあったセンテンスについて質問です。 The amount of allownace that parents give their children to spend as they wish differs from family to family. このセンテンスの後半の「wish differs」が、文法的にどうなっているのか理解できません。 「wish to differ」ではダメなのでしょうか？ よろしくご教授願います。

１。構造 主語： The amount of allownace that parents give their children to spend as they wish 好きなだけ使うよう両親が子どもに与える小遣いの額は 動詞： differs 「異なる」 副詞句： from family to family.家庭から家庭へで ＞ 家庭によって ２。全訳 好きなだけ使うよう両親が子どもに与える小遣いの額は、家庭によって異なる。 ３。ご質問 ＞＞「wish to differ」ではダメなのでしょうか？ 切り方が間違っています。構造をご覧下さい。

＃１です。補足です。 ＞＞なるほど。asは前置詞ではなく関係代名詞だったんですね。 （「～のように」の意味で捉えて構わないでしょうか） おっしゃる通り「～なように」です。 Do as you wish.「好きなようにしなさい」＞「勝手にしろ」 He could do as he wished.「彼は自分の好きなように出来た」＞「彼は思うように何でも出来た」 など

Do you think that parents should pressure their children to compete ? Write a passage of 5 sentence in English. この問いに対する私の英作です。 I think that parents should not pressure there children to compete. Parhaps children began to compete something, provided children like it. But If parents gives exceeding pressure their children to compete, children come to dislike it. Even if they like it. The best way that parents only keep watch children. Therefore, children began to compete even whithout pressure. 私はよくないと思う。おそらく好きだったら自分で競争しはじめる。しかし、もし親が重圧をかけるぎると嫌いになってしまう。たとえそれが好きなことであっても。一番いいのは見守ることだ。それゆえ、プレッシャーをかけなくても・・・・ みたいな事が書きたかったのですが。 添削よろしくお願いしますm(_ _)m

英文の構造が？ 日本語訳はだいたいわかります。「私立大学の入試です」 第二文のshowingは分詞構文ですか？主語はa Canadian resercherですね。 Notからshowingまでの文はどうつながっているのですか？ When parents use sarcasm to playfully tease their young children,do the kids see the humor? 親が幼い子供をふざけてからかうのに皮肉を使うとき、子供たちはそのユーモアがわかるのか？ Not likely,according to a Canadian researcher who has completed a study showing that children need to be 10 or older before fully grasping the concept that sarcasm can be funny or even insulating. そうでもないようだ、研究を完成したカナダの研究者によると皮肉がおもしろいとまたは侮辱されているという概念を十分につかめるのは１０歳かそれ以上になるのが必要だと示している。 おしえてください。

It's natural for parents to want to protect their children. なのですが、なぜnaturalの次にforが来て、parentsのあとにto がくるのかわかりません。toは～することのtoでしょうか？ 特にforの解釈の仕方がわかりません。 説明等わかりやすくしていただけるとありがたいです。
