他の方や私が前回に書いたように これは分詞構文ですので、 分詞構文の規則に従わなくてはならないんです・・・ なぜいけないか？ ⇒分詞構文の規則に反することになるから。 分詞構文の主な書き出しとしては (1)～ing (2)過去分詞 (3)Not toから始まる分詞構文はありません。 あなたがto doの形で書きたいと言っても、無理なものは無理なんです。諦めてください。

＞You will be more than welcome .この訳を教えて下さい （うれしくって）歓迎なんてもんじゃないよ。 ＞Turning to the light, you will find the bank you are looking for. のturning をto turn だとなぜいけないんでしょうか？ If you turn to the right = Turning to the right 「右へ曲がれば」という言い方において、目的を示す to不定詞は使いません。

大歓迎します。 light は rught の誤りですね。 分詞構文といって、分詞が主語・述語・接続後の三役を担ったような表現方法です。 If you turn ... とほぼ同じ意味だと考えて構いません。短い文で、直感的に伝える文になります。

be likely toを含んだ文で The 比較級, the 比較級構文を作ると、 The more careful you are in making plans, the more likely you are 【to】 be successful. となるのはわかります。 【to】はbe likely toのtoですよね。 でも 現在形でなく、willを使うと The more careful you are in making plans, the more likely you will be successful. となり、toはありません。 つながりがないようで、なんとなく納得できません。 どう考えればいいのか教えていただけないでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします。
