こんばんは。 一番最後の「私」の文章が、 it takes me two minutes to cook. とならなければいけませんが、himの方は正しいです。 誰が料理するかの意味が変わってくるだけで、どれも普通に使う表現だと思います。

A few nights ago I went out for a night on the town with a close friend, her sister, and her sister’s boyfriend. By the end of the night, after several drinks too many (not an excuse, and I know you don’t approve), the boyfriend and I found ourselves alone. He came on to me, and even though I know it was wrong, I ended up making out with him. Later that night, he came to my room, I’m guessing to take things a bit further, but I immediately sent him away. I’m guessing to take things a bit furtherは挿入されているかのように使われていますが、どのような役割でしょうか？よろしくお願いします

I may have left them behind in the train . この may have leftをmight have left 、might leaveとしてはいけないのはどうしてですか？ might、may have 過去分詞、might have 過去分詞の使い方の違いも辞書を引いてみたのですが、よくわかりませんでした。 If S were to不定詞、Were S to不定詞 は If S should 原形、Should S 原形と同じ意味のものだとしてもよいのでしょうか？(Ｓは主語の意味です) これらの文は文法的にちゃんと合っているのかチェックしてもらえますか？ It is about time for children to go to bed . It is about time children went to bed . It is about time children should go to bed . もうひとつ、 例えば、「彼が泣いているのを聞く」というのを英文にするなら、 I hear him crying . 「彼が泣いている」→him cryingでいいでしょうか？

以下2つの文章の文型についてです。 （１） I got him to observe the operation. （２） I got a chance to observe the operation. ・（１）は第5文型で、（２）は第3文型ですよね？ ・なぜ（２）は第5文型ではないのでしょうか？ 第5文型の間接目的語は人に限定されているのでしょうか？ （２）が第5文型ではないという明確な理由を教えて頂ければと思います。

会話文で"About two hours and twenty minutes."と答えているのに対する自由英作で"How long did you take Shinkansen from Nagoya to Hiroshima?"は間違った文章でしょうか？模範解答は"How long did it take?"なのですが「ＡからＢまでどのくらい新幹線に乗っていたのですか」と聞きたかったのでそういう文章を作ったと言うのですが。takeとlongを使って自由に作る文章なのでこれでもいいような気がするし、なんか違和感があるような気もするし。どなたか教えていただけますか

My boyfriend of two years and I are breaking up. It’s excruciating, because I love living with him. He is clean, polite, funny, a kick-ass cook, and handles conflict well. But that just makes it harder that he’s not very affectionate. He doesn’t share much of himself emotionally, or put his arm around me anymore, or initiate sex. I could almost have dealt with it, but when I told him I needed him to take sex more seriously or it would end the relationship, he didn’t make any changes. I feel that in order for him to grow into a person I could be happy with, we need to separate, at least for a while. I really think it will help him grow. But I can’t picture us not being in each other’s lives at all. We are both clear-headed about the reasons we are separating, and there are no bad feelings. Is it unreasonable that I still picture us getting dinner together twice a week or going to the zoo and making up stories about the animals? or put his arm around meは「私に腕を回さない」で否定文ですよね？nor put his arm around meかor doesn't put his arm around meとはならないのでしょうか？もし肯定文を続けたい場合はどうすれば良いのでしょうか？あと、making up stories about the animalsの意味も教えてください。よろしくお願いします

A man is a laborer if the job society offers him is of no interest to himself but he is compelled to take it by the necessity of earning a living and supporting his family. the job society offers him この目的語の欠落の部分ですが、これは文法の種類でいうとなんなんでしょうか。 それとあとa man から himの完成した文?のあとにいきなりisがくるのはなんなんでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします。
