多分これだと思います。 It seems to do easily. She seems to be easily mounted. (I was seen so. Though it would be difficult. )

seemとappearは時制で使い分けされているんですか？ Forestの172-173ページの「seem to 不定詞/appear to 不定詞」で My dog seems to understand English. 僕の犬は、英語を理解しているようだ。 The children appeared to be happy. 子供たちは嬉しそうだった。 という例と The Romans seem to have built this castle. ローマ人がこの城を建てたらしい。 The boy appeared to have been hurt in the accident. その男の子は事故で怪我をしたようだった。 という例が載っています。 ここの説明を読んでいると、 （現在形ではseemとappearはもちろん両方使えるとしても） 過去形はappearが使えるだけで seemはあたかも過去形では使えないかのような印象を受けます。 ただ、実際にはseemedの文は今までたくさん見てきました。 appearとseemのニュアンスの違いは置いておいて The children seem to be happy. と昨日思ったので、今日 The children seemed to be happy. と言うことはできますか？ それともやはりseemedにすると現実には起こりえない表現になりますか？ ちなみに過去ログは一応目を通してあります（今回の時制の話は別のようです。）： seem toとappear toの違いについて http://okwave.jp/qa/q2455043.html ↓ seemとlookとappearの違い http://oshiete1.goo.ne.jp/kotaeru.php3?q=1420929

こんにちは。状態を表す３つの単語seem, appear, lookに関する質問です。 これらの単語で過去の状態を表現する場合 １ 過去形を用いる seemed, appeared, looked ２ have 過去分詞形を用いる seem to have done, appear to have done, look to have done ３ 両方用いる seemed to have done, etc これらが考えられるのですが、どのように使い分ければよいのでしょうか？ 例えば「彼は疲れているようだった」の場合 He looked tired. 「その話は奇妙な感じがした」 The story seemed strange. それぞれの動詞に特定、もしくは頻繁に使われるような状況はあるのでしょうか？ どなたかわかるかたいましたら、お助けください。 よろしくお願いします。

My mother is in her mid-60s and I think she still looks pretty great for her age. However, I’m beginning to suspect that she doesn’t know how to properly deal with her aging skin. It’s the only explanation I can think of for why she’s begun adding more and more dramatic makeup over the past several years. She applies a thick line of black eyeliner under her eyes, well below where most women apply it. She also pastes on thick foundation and uses very dark lipstick. All of this makeup does nothing for her and I think she looks quite beautiful without it. My husband has noticed how heavy her makeup is as well. I would love to buy her a makeover so that maybe an experienced makeup artist could show her how to apply a softer look that works with her skin. But she’s extremely sensitive and I can’t think of a single way to tell her she needs to dial back the makeup without hurting her feelings. - 何故 現在完了形が使われる？
1 You meet Kate. She has a black eye and some bandages on her face. You say to her: (using BE / A FIGHT) -------- You look like you 've been in a fight. 2 Ken comes into the room. He looks absolutely terrified. You say to him: (using SEE / A GHOST ) ---------You look like you've seen a ghost. 上記の二文ですが、1 You look like you were in a fight. 2 You look like you saw a ghost. では、なぜいけないのでしょう？ 設定にShe has～/ He looks～と 現在の状態を言っているので『現在』にこだわり 「いまさっきしてきた」感を前面に出さないといけない。ということなのでしょうか？ ちょっと前の過去として 過去形でもいいように思うのですが、 教えてください。よろしくお願いいたします。
