>2つ目的語をとるのがすくないときいて安心しました choose,call,とかそうですかね？ そうですね。いずれも目的語を２つとることができますね！私の頭にすぐに浮かぶのは、giveのほか、ask, tell, send, buyなどですね。これらを使って直接、間接目的語をいれた文をつくったり、辞書で例文を調べたりするといい練習になるかもしれません。

>他動詞なら全て同じというわけではなくて、目的語を２つ取れるのと取れないのがあるということですかね 大部分の他動詞は直接目的語はとるが、間接目的語をとりません。たとえば、あなたの質問にある４つの他動詞（obtain, design, require, involve)のいずれも直接目的語しかとりません。直接目的語と間接目的語の両方をとる他動詞を見つけるほうがはるかに難しい。両方とる他動詞の例を5つあげなさい、といったら、すぐにあげられますか？ >しかしなんで人が間接でものが直接目的語なんですかね。人のほうが重要だから 直接っていう印象があるんですが。 英語の5つの文型でいうと、S+V+O1+O2のO1の部分が間接目的語、O2の部分が直接目的語。日本語でいうと、「－－に、－－を、する」の文型において、動詞「する」の直接の目的・対象になっている部分「ーーを」の部分が直接目的語、「－－に」の部分が間接目的語と呼ばれている。多くの場合「－－に」の部分に人がはいるのが自然で、とくに重要であるかどうかとは別問題でしょう。

ANo.5への補足。 自動詞？？ requireは他動詞です。目的語をとる動詞を他動詞といいますが、ANo.4であげた例はいずれも目的語をとっているではありませんか！ちなみに、選択肢としてあげられている、obtain, design, require, involveはすべて他動詞です。visitor passesという目的があるのだから、選択肢が自動詞だったら、即非正解として排除されます。

ANo.4への追加。 ・確かに、選択肢の中にRequestがあるなら、選択肢Aとどちらがよいか、意見が分かれるところでしょう。 ・requireに「要求する」という訳語も辞書に出ていますが、使い方が少し違います。たとえば、 The regulations require that all the students carry their identification cards.( 規則は全学生が学生証を携行することを要求している） I was required to report to the police.（私は警察へ出頭することを求められた（要求された）。） 通常の意味の「要求する」に一番近いのはおそらく We will do all that is required of us. (私たちに要求されることは何でもします。） He required some more information from me. （彼は私にもっと情報を伝えてほしいと申し出た。） という使い方でしょう。ただし、この場合、of、あるいはfromのような前置詞を伴います。

requireでは、もっとも妥当な選択肢でないだけでなく、意味をなしません。あなたはrequire visitor passesを「訪問許可証を要求する」という意味だと考えているかもしれませんが、そうではなくｒｅｑｕｉｒｅ visitor passesは「訪問許可証を必要とする」という意味です。「訪問許可証を要求する」という意味にしたいなら、たとえば、ask for visitor passesというような言葉を使わなくてはいけません。これなら、意味が通り、選択肢(A)とどちらがよいか、迷うところです。

requireなら「要求」するために手続きするとなります。 手続きしてvisitor passesをくださいと要求して終わりですか？ obtain「手に入れる」ために手続きするとなります。 手続きしてvisitor passesを手に入れます。 入手しないと意味ないでしょ。

パスを受け取らないと中に入れないので、要求しただけではダメってことじゃないですか？ 選択肢で与えられた問題は、複数の正解があっても、もっとも妥当なもののみが正答とみなされる暗黙ルールがありますし。
