windows xpに関して質問です。 起動中に、パソコンがジーっと音をたて、突然フリーズしバックがブルーの画面になります。 そこに以下の様な文章が書かれています。 A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. ＞文章は以上です。 この後に「STOP：」で始まる文章があったと思います それ以外は定型文なので"KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR"以外は何の意味もありません ＞何か設定で改善出来るのでしょうか？ STOP：以降の文字列をメモ、Web検索してみましょう 同様の事例が見つかると思います。

まぁいわゆるブルー画面でしょう。 ジーという音がするということはハードディスクがお亡くなりになった 可能性が高いですね。救出したいデータがあるのであれば すぐにハードディスクを取り出して、外付け用のHDDケースにでも 入れて、他のパソコンで外付けにして何とか救出を試みてみて ください。残念ですが。

設定で…と聞く前に，書いてあることを試してみてはどうですか？ 多少，スペルミス等はありますが，大丈夫でしょう．
