I was not sure at first what I wanted to study, but now I think I'm pretty confident that I want to obtain a degree in Business. This is a very broad degree, but you can work in almost any field and with that degree, you have the potential to climb very high up the corporate ladder. That's not my goal. but my goal is to make enough money that Todd and I can travel a lot, and I also want to help out with buying a house eventually, and having the security of a good income. In the next sentence you mention that sometimes you like to sleep in it, so a better way to describe what you're saying could be... "A kotatsu will serve as a table, but it's not intended to be used as a bed." This way you're saying that it's not supposed to be a bed, but you could use it that way if you really wanted to. * I wasn't sure if this is what you were trying to say so I guessed.

先日中国系のマレーシア人からメールが届きました。彼とは普段からメールのやり取りをしていて、彼はよく“Ｕ＝ＹＯＵ”とかの略語(？)を使いますが、今まではなんとなく文脈等から理解できていました。しかし今回はどうしても分からない箇所が一つだけあります。今回のメールの全文は、 Hai! how do you do ? I already figure out what to give to u on ur birthday..................as u wish but i need ur phone number so that i can call u and say happy birthday to u, not only that i will sms to u too. If i want to sent a birthday card to u, should i sent it to ur house or u have another address that i can sent to? I will print off the photographs that you sent and send them to the Customs House. What does the receipt say that it written in Japanese related to the price paid of $70? I wanted to find out before it I mail it to the Customs House because the handbag would not be a “gift” if the receipt says that $70 was paid to you. I also wanted to be sure that the receipt does not include EBay. Many thanks for your help with translation.
