They didn't want their daughter to attend any party where free alcohol was served. 第１文の[alcohol-free]はアルコール飲料を出さないですね。 第３文の[free alcohol]の意味は同じ意味ですか。それともアルコール無料の意味ですか。 教えてください。

>第１文の[alcohol-free]はアルコール飲料を出さないですね。 アルコール”飲料禁止”です。から用意していないでしょうし、出さないでしょう。 持ち込みも想定できるので、仮に勧められても”飲んではいけない”と言うことです。 ＞第３文の[free alcohol]の意味は同じ意味ですか。それともアルコール無料の意味ですか。 served とあるので主催側で用意しているので無料でしょう。ですから didn't want ...と 案じています。

英作の問題です。 「だれがパーティーに招待されたのですか」を Who was invited to the party. としたのですが、 問題集の解答は Who were invited to the party. とbe動詞が複数形になっていました。 なぜ複数形なのでしょうか。単数ではダメなのでしょうか。教えてください。

これはnegativeな意味で使う事もよくあるのですか？ 例えば、He was rude enough to come to the party he hadn't been invited to. やら He was stupid enough to do it. のような It was rude of him to ~ . It was stupid of him to ~.などを使うのは知っています。 形容詞enough to~で使うと、わざと侮辱的 に聞こえたりして、、、？ 嫌味にほめてる感があったりしますか？ 教えてください。
