alamoanaさんのいう通りボート自体が軽い重いというのではなく、加重のことを言っていると僕も思います。 専門的なことを知らないので一部適切でないかもしれませんが、補足にある文を自分なりに意訳しますと、 It's a great boat because you can get vertical really easy and you can do clean ends by using your weight to get the ends under. You want to overweight a boat as the hole becames more retentive. You want to underweight the boat in spots that are flushy. 「これはすばらしいボートです。上下方向のコントロールは本当に簡単で、舟の先端が下向きになるように自分の体重をのせることによって先端を洗う（水につける？）ことができます。川の落ち込みが続くところでは多めに体重をのせればいいし、流れの急な場所では体重をかけないようにすればいいです。」 いかがでしょうか。意味的には合っているでしょうか。 使用中に自分の重心を乗せるとoverweight、逆にはなすとunderweightということだと思います。ですからボートの重さ自体は変わりません。

この文章の場合、want to のあとには動詞がなければいけないのですが、underweight には、動詞としての意味がなく「標準以下の重量」という名詞か、「標準重量に達しない」という形容詞の意味しかありません。ですから、これは文章として意味をなさないと思うのですが。 in spots は「時々」「ある点では」「ある程度は」という意味ですが、that の示しているものがわかりません。次に、are がありますから複数だということはわかりますが、これの前の文章はどういう文章でしょうか。また、flushy という単語も意味がわかりません。

★alamoana★と申します。 動詞としてのunderweightも， flushyという形容詞も一般的な語ではありませんので， 難しいですが，あえて訳すと， ★「流れの急な場所では，ボートへの加重を通常以下にしたくなるだろう」 となるかもしれません。 したがって，このボートが軽いのか重いのかということまでは 述べていないのではないでしょうか？

Guys are ostensibly buffoons,and I partake in that. You know,it's like you,just want to rub up against things. この文章の意味が分かりません。 結婚とかしないでふらふらしてるだらしない男の人たちのことを見て、 男の人が話してるのですが。 「男は表向きおどけてる。私は？？？？ 単に？？？したいだけんんだ」 partake in that は参加するですが この場合「私もそうだけど」という意味になるのでしょうか。 またrub up against things は「rub up against people.」と 同じように「ふざけたい じゃれたい？だけなんだ」と とるのでしょうか。 基本的には「こする」ですよね？ まったく分かりません。教えて下さい。
