We usually decorate a doll displayed at the Girls' Festival at home, we eat vinegared rice arranged with a layer of sliced raw fishs. The weather's been getting warmer, though, so it won't be long before it's the season for cherry blossom festivals. Cherry blossom festivals are events where people buy food from street vendors and walk along pathways lined with chrry blossom trees while looking at the cherry blossoms. It's very beautiful. こんばんは。 ●「cool」には反応・態度が「冷たい」という意味があるので、悪い意味で勘違いされる可能性があります。ですので、安易に使わない方が良いと思います。 ※引用：ロングマン英和辞典、2008年、桐原書店、349項 ●「country」は数えられる名詞ですので、「the」や「a」なども付けた方が良いでしょう。 ※参考：ロングマン英和辞典、2008年、桐原書店、361項 あとは回答者１番様の通りだと思います。

"You are cool!"でベストですよ！ 同年齢や友達同士で、あまり意味を具体的に言わずに手軽に「（とにかく）かっこいいね」といいたいなら、むしろこれ以外に無いかと。かなりよく使われる便利な言葉です。ちょっと前に出回った日本語で言うならまさしく「イケてる」あるいはもっと古いなら「イカしてる」みたいな意味です。 散々「あなたは鬼、薄情」と言って相手を非難した後で"You are cool."と言えば「（態度や人間性が）冷たい」という意味になるのでしょうか・・・・いやいや、少なくとも会話で「かっこいい！」以外の意味で使われてるのを自分は聞いた事無いです。誤解は無いです。保障します。

とりあえずご指摘の部分を。 Thank you for your letter, pictures and a band. You are cool! 英語圏では「♪」「！」も含め全角文字は使わないようご注意を。基本対応していませんので。 ちょっと気になったのが"a band"・・・「ストラップ」？ 「タイ式ミサンガ」？ そう書けば相手に通じるのでしょうか？ I have never seen elephants but at TV or pictures. He is very cute! "The elephant is....."というとちょっと素っ気無いので、he（男ってことにしちゃっていいでしょう多分）を使って親しみを。そのまんま日本人アピールで"He is KAWAII!"と言ってもいいと思います。 Some day, I would like to go to the Cherry Blossom Festival with you. Please come to Japan. 相手が知らない固有名詞（・・ですよね？）は頭を大文字にした方が読み易いです。 "I would like to"は繰り返して使わない方が格好はいいです。（そもそも正しくは"I would like you to come to Japan."。ですね） あと、行きたい桜祭りは複数あるのですか？ 特定の１つだけなら単数で。特定の複数ならこのままsを付けて、不特定の複数ならthe無しでもいいでしょう。

My boyfriend of two years and I are breaking up. It’s excruciating, because I love living with him. He is clean, polite, funny, a kick-ass cook, and handles conflict well. But that just makes it harder that he’s not very affectionate. He doesn’t share much of himself emotionally, or put his arm around me anymore, or initiate sex. I could almost have dealt with it, but when I told him I needed him to take sex more seriously or it would end the relationship, he didn’t make any changes. I feel that in order for him to grow into a person I could be happy with, we need to separate, at least for a while. I really think it will help him grow. But I can’t picture us not being in each other’s lives at all. We are both clear-headed about the reasons we are separating, and there are no bad feelings. Is it unreasonable that I still picture us getting dinner together twice a week or going to the zoo and making up stories about the animals? or put his arm around meは「私に腕を回さない」で否定文ですよね？nor put his arm around meかor doesn't put his arm around meとはならないのでしょうか？もし肯定文を続けたい場合はどうすれば良いのでしょうか？あと、making up stories about the animalsの意味も教えてください。よろしくお願いします
