翻訳お願いします。

海外の友達からもらったメールで、 どうしても訳せない文がありまして、翻訳と簡単な 解説をしてもらえるとありがたいです。 I've seen, the tears falling, for the pain of seeking the truth was getting too much. 前半の、涙をこぼすのを見たというのはわかるのですが、 後半の、for the pain of seeking the truth was getting too muchが わからないです。 pain of seeking で１かたまりなのか、 seeking the truthで１かたまりなのか、、 when nothing is left, to help me go on, God, is quietly there to see me cry. これも訳して欲しいのですが、こちらの文は見当もつきません。 よろしくお願いします。

「真実が明らかになるにつれて心の痛みは増し続け、涙は今も止まりません」 'for' は「原因・理由」を意味する接続詞です。 'for' が導く節の主語は 'pain' で、'truth' は動名詞 'seeking' の目的語です。 「なすすべもない今、神は黙して涙を流す私を眺めるばかりです」 'when' が導く節は 'on' までで、'to help' は 'nothing' を修飾する形容詞的 用法の不定詞です。

回答番号：No.2 への補足です。 'see' には「～を黙認する」という意味があります。 'see + 目的語 + do' という形で「～が～をするのを黙認する」という 意味での用例があります。 二つ目の文の 'see me cry' は「（神は）私が泣くのを黙認する」と いう意味だと思います。

for~以下は「真実を求めるという行為に伴う痛みが、耐え難いほどに（too much)なってきました」ですね。forは、becauseと同意だと思います。 最後の文章は、 すべての気力がつきた時、ふと気がつくと神様が涙を流す私をみていた・・・。という感じでしょうか。 nothing is left to help me go on このまま続けていくだけの何もかもがなくなったとき＝（気力がなくなってしまった）と訳してます。 詩的な文章なのかな？

私は見てきた。。。流れ落ちる涙を、真実を捜し求める辛さが募るごとに流れ落ちる涙を。。。。 私自身、どうしようもない状態になっても、なお神様は私が泣いているのを静かに見守っている。 悲しいですね。どうやって元気付けるか難しいですね。
