機器はCisco1712です。 当初はc1700-k9o3sy7-mz.122-15.ZL1.binというIOSが入っていて、問題なく動作していました。 今回IOSをc1700-advsecurityk9-mz.124-12.binというのに変更しました。 それだけの操作で、次回起動時には新しいIOSをロードしてくれるものだと思っていたのですが その後ルータを起動するとIOSはロードしてくれず、rommonモードのプロンプトで停止するようになりました。ここで boot flash:c1700-advsecurityk9-mz.124-12.bin を実行すれば正常に起動してくれますのでイメージファイルは問題ないと思っています。 自動で新しいIOSをロードしてもらえるようにできないでしょうか。 参考に起動時のログを載せておきますが、ご存知の方がいましたら宜しくお願いします。 System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(7r)XM4, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) TAC Support: http://www.cisco.com/tac Copyright (c) 2003 by cisco Systems, Inc. - cisco 2500に14M越えメモリを認識させる方法がありますか?
cisco 2500にPC用72PIN SIMM 64Mを設定しました。 たしかに、贈設されたらしく、純正メモリが追加された状態では、 7MをこえるIOS(c2500-is-l.120-23.bin)を読めて起動する様にになりました そこで、16MをこえるIOSをboot systemで設定すると 起動時 [buffer overflow - 14066688/14066494 bytes] になります。 POSTの結果では14Mしか認識されていないように 思えます。 01:01:27: %SYS-5-RELOAD: Reload requested System Bootstrap, Version 5.2(8a), RELEASE SOFTWARE Copyright (c) 1986-1995 by cisco Systems 2500 processor with 14336 Kbytes of main memory 14M以上のメモリを認識させる方法がROMモード等で あるのでしょうか? 御存知のかたアドバイスお願いします。リカバリの方法が 予めわかっていればですが、学習用の器材なので、 失敗して起動しなくなるような操作でもためせます。

- CISCO IOSをPCに保存する方法

- cisco800 でIOSのバージョンアップ
cisco800系のルータのIOSのバージョンアップを行いたいのですがどうしてもできません。 flashメモリーには新しいバージョンのIOSが入っています。GSRではreload（再起動）するだけでバージョンアップができましたが800シリーズでは古い方のIOSをみにいってしまいます。 Rmonモードで新しいIOSをみるように設定しないといけないとか聞きます。あっていますでしょうか？ その手順、コマンドがいまいちわかりません。詳しく載っているサイト、または詳しい方アドバイスお願いします。
