手紙を英訳して下さい

質問

子供が○月○日まで、○○でホームステイしています。出発前にホストファミリーの方からメールを頂いていたのですが、お世話になることへの感謝の手紙をメールで返信したいのですが。よろしくお願いします。
手紙内容：
Ｍｒ．○○様
こんにちわ。息子がお世話になっております。ホストファミリーの方がどんな方になるか、とても楽しみにしていました。まさか本人が滞在中に通う学校、○○校の先生のお家にホームステイすることになるは！！
それにバーディーを組むペアの方も「ヘッドボーイ」ということは、日本で言うリーダーのことですか？勝手に「周りはすごい人ばかりなのでは！？」とビックリし、喜んでいます。（間違っていたらすみません）
彼はのんびりしていて、あまり気の利くほうではありません。好奇心はとても旺盛です。水泳部には中学校から入っているので泳ぐのが好きです。食べ物の好き嫌いもほとんどなく、動物好きです。（そちらの猫ちゃんともう仲良しになっているのでは？）せっかく○○に行っているのに、度々日本から連絡を取るのもどうかと思いますので、次は、彼が無事帰宅したときに報告と感謝のメールを送りたいと思います。沢山のすばらしい経験をし、素敵な思い出を持って帰ってきてくれることを楽しみにしています。どうぞ宜しくお願いいたします。今、日本では○○と逆の季節、夏ですが、風邪など引かれませんようにお体に気をつけてください。○○より

Hello, Thank you for your hospitality while my son has been staying there,
I was so exiting how is going for my son host families. I was amazing and I did not think about my son could stay in teachers house who is same school his
going. Does the meaning of the head boy same as leader in Japanese ?
I am expecting and glad to hear that he would meet the super friends.

His character is easy going and no so smart, but he is curious. He loves swimming when he enrolled middle school and loves animals, his eating style does not have in particular loves it or not. How about his friendly with your cat ? I am wondering if I send so much letter or contact with him because he had good chance to go abroad 丸丸　 and I will sent you the thanks letter after his come back home without nothing particular, I am looking forward to
having the nice souvenir and memories ,
