日本語で訳すとどうなるんでしょう？
Why don't the satellites we put into orbit fall to Earth? という英文があるんですが、日本語に訳すと「衛星達は何故地球に落ちないんですか？」でいいんでしょうか？ 初歩的な質問ですみません！ どなたか知っている方いましたら教えて下さい！！

”鞄が落ちそうに置かれている。”と言う文章を英語に直したいのです。 自分で色々考えて見ましたが，良い英文が浮かびません。 下記の英文で良いでしょうか？ 他の言い方があれば教えて下さい。 1) A bag is put as if it seems to fall down. 2) A bag is put as if it is likely to fall down. 3) A bag is put in such a way that it starts to fall down. 4) A bag is put coming near falling down. 5) A bag is put looking almost falling down. この様な英文は思いつくのですが，これらで良いのかの知れませんが，なんとなくスッキリしません。 宜しくご教示お願いします。

人工衛星の軌道で、英語で"highly elliptical orbit"とは、日本語ではなんというのでしょうか？ "elliptical orbit"とは「楕円軌道」ですが、highly elliptical orbitというのは「低緯度で地球にいちばん近づき、高緯度で地球からもっとも離れる、楕円軌道」だそうです。極地近くの国では通信衛星にこの軌道を使うそうです。 なにか名前がありましたら教えてください。 それと「長楕円軌道」は「楕円軌道」とはまた別のものですか？ わたしは物理・天文学は素人ですので、簡単な説明をいただけると助かります。 よろしくお願いします。
