この文の言いたいことは何か
日本のレストランについてのドキュメンタリーを見た友達からの感想 なのですが意味がわかりません。 (1)People were paying great attention to the decoration,and for some little restaurants (mainly sushione),they were expecting a good education from the owner. 人々は(お客さんということでしょうかそれともお店の店員のこと？) は店の内装に気を配り、そして小さなレストラン(主に寿司屋)？？ 彼らは(？誰のことか。お客さんたち？)オーナーからの良い教育を 期待している？ (2)They expect he will offer a good conversaiton and all, is it true? We don't have this here, it's usally "leave me alone and give me something to eat" -.- It's a shame. ここでのtheyとheも客なのか店員のどちらのことを言っているのか わかりません。 私のところではこんなことないよ、『私のことなんてほっといてよ、 とっとと食べるもの出して』ってのが普通。 ちょっと恥ずかしいけど。 つまり、日本人の『おもてなしの心』みたいなのはすごいんだよね とほめてくれてるんでしょうか？ ほめてくれてたら嬉しいけど旅館とか料亭のようなすごいサービスは どんなお店にもあてはまるとは限らないので誤解されないように 説明しなくては…(笑) どなたかこの文章の本当の意味を教えてください(^^；) よろしくお願いします！

こんにちは。お客：people→ they、 the owner→ heのことです。 内容は合っていると思います。教育、というのを教養とかにすればもう少し意味が理解できるかもしれません。 要するに、日本ではカウンター越しに座るような小さいお店、特にお寿司屋さんだと店主との会話があったり、お客もそういうのがあるかなと思うものだけど、ドキュメンタリーを見たご友人の所ではそういう会話が行われるような所はなくて、食べ物を出すだけでいいんだ、という感じで恥ずかしいと思う、ということです。 ご友人はおそらく、お店の人とお客さんとの間に会話がある、ということと、食べることが主なのに、食べること以外にお客が求めていることがある、というのに驚いている、といった印象を受けます。

１、２が一続きで、同一人物ですね。現物フィルムを見ないとなんともいえませんが（逆に見ているあなたのほうが分かるはず） People は客だともいます。 １、でドキュメンタリーを振り返り「客は内装にとても関心を払っていたね。すし屋では店主からためになる話を聞きたがってた」 ２、で「客が店主からの会話を期待するもんなの？」と付随質問しているのではないでしょうか。

早速お答いただきありがとうございました。 おっしゃるとおり、この文章は続きもので同じ人物からのものです。 カウンターのある居酒屋(残念ながら回転寿司しか知らないので・笑) や小料理屋というのはおそらくお客さんとの他愛もない会話を 料理人さんも楽しんでそうな雰囲気ですよね。 それを外国の子が見て珍しい！と興味を持ってくれたことに 目からうろこというかおもしろいなと感じています。 日本のファミレスもそうですが作る人、運ぶ人、と完全に分担 されているお店よりこうやって料理を作る人とコミュニケーションが ある方が私も行きたいなと思います。 アドバイスありがとうございました♪

まずこの文をみてほしいです。 they were going to a wedding. a family wedding that promised jokes and fun and dozens happy his cousins. 「彼らはある結婚式に向かっている途中だった。１つの家族の結婚式は冗談を交えたり、楽しんだり、彼の親族と笑いあうことを約束した。」 という文なのですが、 ２文目が名詞しか存在しませんよね？ １文目のピリオドがカンマなら問題なかったのですが。 自分でいろいろと考えたのですが、 １、thatが副詞 これならpromisedが動詞になって文が完成するのですが、訳がどうもおかしいですよね。 ２、they were going to が省略されている。 これならしっくりきますが本当にこの解釈であっているのか心配です。 皆さんの意見を聞かせてください！！

A proud looking man. He had trouble with one of his knees and his leg was a bit weak or crooked. He had a hospitable and generous nature. He tried to mould the minds of his children into the right direction in life. Married late in life to a woman of superior position and his past was not so good. He could be melancholic and liked to study or read in the silence of his own chamber with a lamp, which his children were not welcome to disrupt. He was stricter and sharp with the children when they were small. but, gentler when they were older and behaved better. He could be merry, eat drink and have fun and include the children. He felt happy amongst his family and children. He was intuitive and had a spiritual side.
