下記について、質問です。 Specifically, with respect to University records or information, individuals must: 1 Not include or cause to be included in any record or report, a false, inaccurate or misleading entry known to the user as such. 1 以降の意味がうまくとれません。ひとつひとつの単語は理解できるのですが、どのようにつなげたらいいのかわからないのです。記録やレポートに新たにデータを追加してはいけないということと、不正、不正確、詐欺の情報がうんぬんということだとは思うのですが・・・。 よろしくお願いします。

これも次の質問で回答したように、（ ）の文と並列文にして Individuals must not include (or cause to be included in any record or report,) a false, inaccurate or misleading entry known to the user as such. entry はpiece of written informationに書き換えると Individuals must not include a false, inaccurate or misleading piece of written information known to the user as such, or must not cause to be included in any record or report.

not include = 自ら~~~~したりしてはいけない。 not cause to be included in 故意に(故意を持って)~~~~をさせてはいけない。 つまり、自ら~~~することも「駄目よ」、また、故意を持って他人をして~~~することも「駄目よ」の意味です。 「cause」は通常「~~~を引き起こす」ですが、ここでは「====をして故意に~~~せしめる」と訳すと意味が通ります。「===」は省略もされます。

下記の日本語訳をしましたが、訳が不自然な気がしてなりません。一文でスマートに訳せる方がいたら、お手伝いください。* 必ず一文である必要もありません。 あと、原因をつくるの"つくる"はどの漢字を使えばよかったですか？ひらがなのままが自然ですか？ 6. 英文の秘密保持契約書を訳していますが、次の一文でつまづいています。。。 All notice and other communications required or permitted under this Agreement must be in writting and will be deemed given when deliverd personally, by certified mail, by confirmed facsimile, or by overnight courier service to the address set forth in the preamble hereunder or to such other address as each party may designate in writing. このうち、最初から...by overnight courier serviceまでを訳すと 「この同意書に基づく告知・伝達はすべて書面で行われなければならず、郵便、ファックス、夜間の急使で個人的に送付した…」 となると思うのですが(これすら自信がありません)、 この続きのto the address以下がこの文のどこにかかるのか、またaddressが何なのかがわかりません。「住所」?? ちなみにこの部分(to the address以下)を無理やり訳すと 「序文で述べたaddressまたは相互に書面にて指定したaddressに対し」 となると思うのですが… 全部で14項から成る契約書のうち、第13項なので、かなり最後のほうです。 よろしくお願いします。
