なんか回答つかないですね。 it は the governor's foreign policy experience was atmospheric だと思います。 ペイリンのベテラン選挙運動員は、ペイリンの外交経験と言ったら感覚的なものでしかない、ちょうどマイアミの人がラテンアメリカに抱く感覚と同じだ、とCBS News の Scott Conroy に語った。「アラスカの先っぽからは、その先(ロシア)が見えるってことさ」その人は言った。「比喩として言えばね」 マイアミの人がラテンアメリカに抱く感覚がわからないのでアメリカ人に聞いたところ、「マイアミにはラティーノがうじゃうじゃいるから、そこに住んでると、自分がラテンアメリカのことをよく知っているような気になっちゃう。でもそれは錯覚で本当のことはわかっちゃいない。マイアミはラテンアメリカじゃないからね」との事でした。

I think you are a wonderful woman and would love to know you more. I like you very much, you are very nice and sincere.. It was nice being able to know each other more...and I think it was nice that we are able to share wonderful moments together. Please don't worry much about it. Thing's comes naturally. レスありがとうございます。 お示しの回答から判断すれば、直訳的には「それはアラスカの先端から見ることができることである」（very much は修飾語としてのけて考え）であり、being の ing は動名詞ということですね。 これは納得できます。 主語の it は the governor's foreign policy experience was atmospheric とされていますが、上の解釈からすれば the governor's foreign policy experience と取ってもよさそうに思えます。 someone from Miami might obtain a feel for Latin America について言えば、私の記憶違いかもしれませんが、マイアミ出身かマイアミ選出の議員か誰かが「自分はマイアミ出身だから（マイアミに在住だから）南米を対象にした外交感覚を備えている」とか発言したとかなんとか何かで読んだような気がします。 ほぼ納得がいきましたが、取りあえずもう少し他の方からレスがつくか待ってみます。ありがとうございました。
