Windows Error Reportingの翻訳お願いします。

質問

このカテゴリで適切なのか自信ないのですが・・・。
頻繁にエラーするソフトについてのWindows Error Reportingなんですが、英語のページしかないそうなんです。
簡単な英語ならなんとなく見当がつくんですが、パソコン用語はほとんど知らないのでどうしても分からないところがあるのです。直したくても端々の単語が何を指しているのか分からないので、とても困ってます。
詳しい方、どうか翻訳をお願いします。

それはカテゴリが違うかもしれません。

トラブルシューティングのところだけにしておきますが、ありきたりのことしか書かれていません。それに、この種の質問は、本来は、「エラー」と「ご使用になっているソフト」と、細かな状況を、しかるべき場所でご質問するほうが早いです。英語自体、それを訳しても解決にはならないように思います。これは、アップデート、レジストリ解除、名前の変更の3つを試みることしか書かれていません。

ただ、この種の世界では、アップデートすれば、通常は解決することが多いと思います。

公式バージョンは、December 24,2007 のようですが、DRMとかのプロテクトも、新しくなっていますから、とりあえず、アップデートを頻繁に行ってみるしか方法はないと思います。

2. 原因となったプログラムがあって、それが分かるなら、それをアンインストールする。

[プログラムの追加と削除]にない場合は、そのインストールしたプログラムの情報で調べてほしい。

当然、ffdshow.ax に依存したコーデックは、機能がなくなってしまう。

--1. スタートをクリック。すべてのプログラム　-アクセサリ　を探して、コマンド・プロンプト(MS-DOS　プロンプト画面で）

とすればよい。それで外れるはず。

--3. その時にエラーが返るようなら、ffdshow.ax を動作しないようにするために、ファイルを探し出して、名前を変える。

検索を使い、見つけたら、右クリックで、例えば、ffdshow.ax.old とかしてみる。
必要になれば、また、その old の部分をとればよいです。

しかしそれ以下は日本語でもちんぷんかんぷんです・・・；；
機械には弱くて何が何やらさっぱり分かりません。
