英作文について
環境問題についての英作文を作成中ですが、「クーラーで部屋の温度を下げすぎないようにする」という英作文を We shouldn't make the temperature of the air conditioner too lower in the room.としてみましたが、これで通じるでしょうか。 もし、ご指摘があればお願いします。

＞「クーラーで部屋の温度を下げすぎないようにする」 ＞We shall take care not to make the room temperature too low, when using a cooler. ＞（クーラーを使うときは、室温が低くなり過ぎないよう、注意すること）。 クーラーは、a cooler という言葉があります。エアコン an air-conditioner でも構いません。 ＞We shouldn't make the temperature of the air conditioner too lower in the room. too lowewr とは言いません。too low として、この英文を訳してみると： ＞部屋においては、エアコンの温度をあまり低くしてはならない。 「エアコンの調節温度」ならよいのですが、「エアコンの温度」とは、エアコン本体の温度で、下げすぎてはならないのは、「室内の空気温度」です。それは、room temperature と言います。 should not とか、must not は「してはならない」です。 元の日本語は、「室温を下げすぎないよう注意した方がよい」という意味です。「室温を下げすぎないよう注意するよう」という文章の形は、英語では、shall を使います。 「日本国憲法」は、例えば、「天皇は、日本国の象徴であり……」となっていますが、これの英文は、The Emperor shall be the symbol of the State ..... です。 「温度を下げすぎないようにする」というのは、「下げすぎてはならない」とはニュアンスが違うのです。「強い義務」ではなく、「努力目標としての義務」の場合、shall が合っているはずなのです。

"the temperature of the air conditioner" と言うと、エアコンの機械自体の 温度を指しているように思えるのですが。 "too lower" という表現もないと思います。 私もぴったりくるようには表現出来ないのですが、以下のようにすると英語と しては自然になると思います。 We should not use the air conditioner to make the room temperature too low.

こんにちは。苦手ですが↓の英作文を書きました。 「現在では世界各地の大都市で日本料理を食べることができます」 私はこれを「We can eat Japanese food in big cities all over the world now.」と訳しました。 解答を見ると「Today, we can eat～」で始まっています。 ここで疑問なのですが、私が書いたように最後に「now」をつけるのはよくないのでしょうか？ わかる方がおられましたらよろしくお願いします。
