意味がよくわかりません。
I was you time with your friend today? というメールがきましたが・・今日友達といた？って 聞きたいのでしょうか？ それと弁当を簡単に表現すると a lunch boxとa box lunchとどちらの方がいいの でしょうか？ネットで検索すると両方とも沢山使われて います。boxed lunchやpacked lunchの方がよりいいの でしょうが、受け身を教わってなので、まだ使えません。

この文そのままだと意味不明ですが、I を How に置き換えると「今日友達とどうだった？（楽しかった？）」という意味になりますね。 How の h の発音が弱いアクセントだとメールだと I とつづってしまう人もいるのかなあ・・・とも思いますがその辺はわかりません。 a lunch box だと直訳では「弁当箱」ですが文章や会話の流れでは「お弁当」という意味ですし、 a box lunch の直訳は「箱入りのお昼ご飯」なのでこれもお弁当ですね。 どちらでもちゃんと通じます。

このメールは文法的にいえば間違っているようですが、たぶん意味はそうなのだと思います。 box lunchで良いですよ。あとはlunch bagとか、packed lunchといったりもします。

一緒に昼食を食べに言ったことが無い人（会社の同僚、友達等)に昼食はどこに食べに言っているの？1人で行っているの？という意味で「「昼食はどうしてるの？」と英語で聞きたいのですがどのように言えばよいでしょうか？ How is your lunch?と言えますでしょうか？ （How is ～の文章がこれにふさわしいか？ということとyour lunch「あなたのluch」と言ってよいか？） もしくは、who are you going with for lunchとか、where are you going for lunchとか誰、何処にと聞くしかないのでしょうか？

お答えありがとうございます。なるほどそういう風にとると 普通に挨拶で使うような言葉で可能性ありますね。 お弁当詳しく書いてくださってありがとうございます。 特に多く使われてる方でかきたかったのですが、多分 同じぐらいなんでしょうね（＾＾）～されたって 書いた方がお弁当ぽいですが、まだ習ってないので、 box lunchをつかってみます。
