質問

「君の笑顔に勝るものはない」の英訳を教えてください。
There is no smile more beautiful than your smile.
There is nothing more beautiful than your smile
There is no better girl more than your smile

これらの表現はおかしいですかね？できれば、There is から文章をはじめたいです。
こういう場合は、beautiful 以外の単語ですとどういうのが使えますか？

はじめまして。

There is～で始められたいということですが、NoやNothingで始めたほうがインパクトは強いですよ。

Nothingで始めれば、形容詞だけでなく動詞もいろいろ選べ、能動的な活力を与えます。

同意の慣用句には、No～more…than＝no～so…asも使えます。No other～than…「～以外には何も」などもあります。

１．形容詞で叙述：
Nothing is more precious than your smile.
＝Nothing is so precious as your smile.
「あなたの笑顔ほど大切なものはない」

Nothing is more valuable than your smile.
「あなたの笑顔ほど価値のあるものはない」

形容詞は、他にもsplendid「素晴らしい」 marvelous「最高だ」charming 「素敵な」fascinating「魅惑的な」attractive「魅力的な」といった表現もあり、moreの後に置くことができます。

２．動詞で叙述：
Nothing attracts me more strongly than your smile.
「あなたの笑顔ほど強く私を惹き付けるものはない」

Nothing impresses me more deeply than your smile.
「「あなたの笑顔ほど深くに印象を与えるものはない」

No other thing knocks me down than your smile.
「あなたの笑顔以外に、私をノックダウンさせるものはない」
＊thingは単数扱いになります。

動詞には、他にもfascinate「魅了する」などもあります。

できるだけ、難しくない表現でいきたいのですが、
Nothing is more precious than your smile
が気に入っているのですが、敢えてthereを使うなら、
There is nothing more precious than your smile
でしょうか？
