英文を和訳していただけないでしょうか
カナダの友人からのメールなんですがindian reservation とはどういう意味なんでしょうか？直訳通り、インディアン特別行政区でいいんでしょうか？ It is nice to hear that you share my homeland info with others:) But the province is called Saskatchewan, it is not a city....Pelican Narrows is an indian reservation where I lived for so many years before foster homes, the indian reservation school in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; and in the future, before attending university in Regina, Saskatchewan. :)

インディアンという呼び名に疑問があると，最近はファースト・ネーションと呼ぶことが多いです． インディアンとして認定された数が約54万人だそうで，その約55%が、保留地に住んでいると。カナダの保留地は2,200か所以上あるそうです．車で走っていると，そこここに保留地があります．

全文の和訳は時間が無いのですが、Indian reservationはインディアン特別行政区で正しいですよ。昔Indianが白人に土地を追われて最後に何も無い土地をIndian reservationとして与えられた土地です。

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has overturned a court ruling sentencing a woman to 10 lashes for breaking a ban on female drivers, reports say. "It seems the official stand is to ignore those women... and let the public slowly get used to to the idea of women driving before making it official," she told the BBC. The Saudi interpretation of Islamic law includes the guardianship system under which women need permission from a male relative to participate in public life. However, correspondents say King Abdullah has struck a reformist stance since he ascended the throne in 2005, especially in regard to women's rights.
