この英語を訳してください
There is no age of consent. (Repealed 1999 - now age 13) エキサイトで訳したところ 「同意の時代が全くありません。 (1999--現在13の年をとるのを撤廃します) 」 ちょっと意味がわかりませんでした。 ちなみに、日本の法律の条文だそうです http://www.dumblaws.com/laws.php?site=laws

「age of consent」 【法】（the ～） 承諾年齢 ((結婚・性交が法律的に認められる年齢))。 １３歳未満は、恋愛関係や結婚目的であっても、SEXは禁止されてます！ 刑法違反（強姦）で、２年以上の懲役です。 以前は年齢制限はなかったが、１９９９年に撤廃。現在は１３歳未満は認められいない、とのことだと思います。 １９９９年５月１８日、「児童買春、児童ポルノに係る行為等の処罰及び児童の保護等に関する法律」 が制定されて、同年１１月１日から施行されておりますが、これと関係あるのでしょうか？

No.3 さんのおっしゃる通りの内容ですね。 このサイトは、変な法律を紹介するもののようですが、もともと刑法では１３歳未満に対する規定が存在していたので、「なかった」というのは誤りですね。 １９９９年の新法では、１８歳未満が児童と規定されて、児童に対する犯罪行為が規定されました。それまでは、地方自治体の条例で取り締まられていたものが、日本国の法律となりました。

There is no reason for Bert getting angry. その点に関しては、おかげさまでよく理解できたのですが、 今日は、別の質問です。 この the alpinist や Bert を 『彼』にしたい場合、 There is no hope of his being saved. There is no reason for his getting angry. でいいのですよね？？ （I dont mind his smokingという例文と同じ？？？） 以上、よろしくお願いいたします。
