He doesn't come today, does he ? などは日本語では単に「ね」でも、英語では 先に来る言葉の主語や時制 などで様々に 変化しますね。 日本人にとってはその都度前の文に関し考えながら 「isn't it」 「 don't you」 「does he」などと使い分ける 必要があり、煩わしいと思います。 この場合、ときどき外人が [right ?」という言葉を使って いるのを聞きますが、これが使えれば便利だと思います。 You can speak English, right ? He doesn't come today , right ? のように使えれば汎用性 があり便利に思いますが、どうなんでしょう？ これでは違和感があり、また使うケースが異なるなど あり、やはり正道をいくしかないのでしょうか？ 何か手軽に使える別の表現があるといいのですが？？

There are a lot of variations among the specific details in the story. Something the ghost is met not on a road but at a party or a restaurant. Something the ghost disappears just when the vehicle drives past a graveyard. 質問なんですが最後の行のThe vehicleは 何でTheがついているんですか？ 車って単語初めて出てきましたよね？ それともヒッチハイカーを乗せた人の車＝the vehicleですか？ でも文章的にそれだと ヒッチハイカーを乗せた人が毎回墓地を通るごとに その幽霊が消えるって、何かおかしいですよね・・・ 何でtheがあるのか教えてください＞＜
