起動しない⇒EMM386がエラー発見!!??

詳しい方よろしくお願いします。 兄のＰＣで以下のような症状が出て困っています。 -------------------------------------------- EMM386 has detected error #u5 in an application at memory address 092E:1014. To minimize the chance of data loss,EMM386 has halted your computer.For more infomation,consult your doccum entation. Yo restart your computer,press Enter. ---------------------------------------- その後Enterをおしても反応しませんでした。電源をきって（長押し）、再度入れてみると、BIOSがでますがWIN98の 画面がでた後、ビープー音がなります。 何か変わったことといえば、FDDからタイピングソフトを インストールしたそうです。どなたかいい知恵かして下さい。よろしくお願いします。

このメッセージってＭＳ－ＤＯＳのメッセージですよ。 まず、 １．使用している機械のメーカ・型番 ２．使用しているＯＳ（本当にWindows98ですか？） ３．ダウンロードしたソフト名及びダウンロード元 を補足してください。 そうしないと、皆さん答えようがありません。

言葉足らずですみませんでした。 1.ノーブランド　（神田にあるY2PCのものです） 　できるだけ細かく書くと・・・（関係ないかもですが） 　M/B:SOYO-3SAMV SIS630E　BIOS:AWARD 　RAM:128MB=SYCOMオリジナル・・2ヶ月前Mtec32MBから 　交換（私のPCから外した） 　CPU:celeron500 FSB（でしたっけ？）=66 　HDD:MPG3102AT(10GBうち約2GB使用) U-DMA/66 　FDD:2モード（ミツミ）CD-ROM:ATAPI接続の44倍BOSSV 　VGA:なし（オンボード8か4MB）sound:オンボード 他NIC（COREGAのPCIバス10Mbps）を増設・・・3ヶ月前　 2.Windows98SEです。私がインストールしたので間違い 　ありません。 3.ＤＬかと思ってたんですが、そうではなく市のIT講習会　で母がもらったタイピングソフトでした。1993年今村二　朗さん作のMIKAMOGU.exeをインストール。（FDDより） 他追記：電源をいれるとBIOSがたちあがって、 メモリーチェックをしないようESCでぬけると WIN98がたちあがり（画面にバージョンがでるところ） ビープー音がはじまります。が、何度か繰り返すと スタート画面にいきます。ただし、毎回前回記した ようなMS-DOSの画面がでます。メモリーのエラーなのかと 思ったので、もとの32MB(!)と交換して様子を見ようと 考えたのですが、どう思いますか？
