次のような否定文について He doesn't speak from notes,very often. という文は、very oftenの前にコンマが入っているので、意味的にHe doesn't speak from notes,that happens very often.と同じになり、部分否定的でなく全体否定的な「彼は原稿を見て話さない、それがとてもしばしばである」という意味になるそうです。これは部分否定的な意味にはならないということでいいのでしょうか？ なので、※「I don't like her very much.」※という、副詞句very muchの前にコンマがない場合は、全体否定的な意味の「私は彼女が好きではない、それがとてもだ」という意味にはならないそうです。 しかし、例えば、「We couldn't see the view by thick fog.」という文や、「He doesn't go to school sometimes.」というようなこれらのコンマのない文は、「濃い霧のために、景色が見えなかった」・「時々、彼は学校に行かない」という意味でとるとすると、notの否定域を[ ]であらわすと [We couldn't see the view] by thick fog. [He doesn't go to school] sometimes. というように、副詞（句）のby thick fogやsometimesは否定域に入っていないが、by thick fogやsometimesは動詞を修飾する副詞なのでcouldn't see the viewという動詞の部分やdoesn't go to schoolという動詞の部分を修飾していると考えていいのでしょうか？ もしそうなら、※「I don't like her very much.」※という文も、同じように、notの否定域[ ]は[I don't like her] very much.とvery muchは入らないが、very muchは動詞を修飾して、「私は彼を好きではない、それがとてもだ」という意味で（部分否定的ではなく）全体否定的な意味になることはないのでしょうか？（というかその場合、全体否定的と言っていいのでしょうか？） 質問が多くてすみませんが、どなたかご回答をお願いします。

Even inside his cell, he is working on something. I can't believe how driven this man is. この「彼」というのは犯罪者で、彼が見た未来に従って殺人をしていると主張しています。 ２行目の解釈がよく分かりません。 「どのように ～ しているのか信じられない」となりますが、 ちょっと不自然な気がします。 I don't know how ～ とか、I wonder how ～ なら意味が分かるのですが。
