pretty nearly の順番

This camera is pretty nearly the same as mine. で同じ副詞なのにpretty nearly の順番なんですか？ pretty は、この場合「かなり」 の意味なので 副詞です。 どうしてpretty nearly なんでしょうか？ ジョブズのスピーチにも、I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I had'nt been fired from Apple. という文章がありました。

副詞といっても動詞を修飾するものと，形容詞や（別の）副詞を修飾するものがあります。 He runs very fast. very も fast も副詞ですが，very は fast を修飾しますので 当然この語順です。 ここでも nearly「ほとんど」という副詞について，「かなりほとんど」と 「ほとんど」にかかっていきます。 こういう very 的な副詞はその直前に置くことになります。
