英文を和訳して頂けますか。
英文は次のとおりです。 特に、taking into account 以下の意味が分かりません。宜しくお願い致します。 Either party may terminate this Agreement by registered letter, taking into account a notice period of at least 3(three) months and against the end of a calender month.

きちんとした答えは相変わらず出せませんが、今の私が考えたことだけ追加してみます。 against は素直に 「～に逆らって」 と解釈したらどうかと考えました。 「・・・ ３ヶ月の猶予期間を置くこと。なお、１ヶ月には２８日～３１日という日数の差があるが、その違いは無視する」 ということかもしれないと思いました。 日数で計算しての 「３ヶ月」 ではなくて、カレンダー上の日付で３ヶ月後の対応日までを猶予期間とする、ということを述べているのではないでしょうか。つまり、３ヶ月 = 30 x 3 = 90日後 という意味ではないと念を押しているのではないでしょうか。２８日までの月だろうと３１日まである月だろうと、その違いは無視するということではないかと私は考えました。

> against は文中でどの様な役割を果たし、どのようなニュアンスをかもしているのでしょうか。 私もその against は気になりました。また、改めて見なおしてみると 「なお、その3ヶ月の期間とはカレンダー上の日付による」 という訳は、ふさわしいものでなかったようにも思えます。 against はある対象とぶつかることです。ごつんとぶつからなくても接触はします。対応する部分が重なり合うことにもなります。すると against the end of a calender month は単純には 「カレンダーの月の終わりが合致するように」 という読み方が出来そうに思われます。また、「合致」 するように合わせろと言っているとも解釈できそうに思いました。 都合がいいように解釈したようでもあり、心苦しいのですが、私の知識ではその程度しか思い浮かびません。語法に詳しい方の回答を待ちたいところです。しかし、そういう方の目にとまらない可能性もあります。その場合は、改めて質問として立てられてもよいかと思います。

再度のご回答ありがとうございます。 このagainstの捉え方は難しいですね。 bakanskyさんの見解はとても参考になりました。 「何か」とcalendar monthの終わりを「合わせろ」という解釈。大いにあり得ると思いました。 「何か」とは「3ヶ月」の通知期間を指すのか・・・。 ついでに申し上げますと、against の前のand も気になっております。 against 以下がthree months を修飾するのであれば、andはいらないような気もします。 「3ヶ月」に何かを付加する意味がandに込められているのでしょうか。 上記の「何か」は「3ヶ月」であり、 「3ヶ月＋○○（3ヶ月の最終月の末日まで？）」ということなのでしょうか・・・。 なかなか的を射た気にはならない難問です。 また、お気づきのことがあれば是非ご教示ください。 ありがとうございました。

当事者である両者のうちの片方が、書留便で解約を解除する旨を通知することが出来る。その際、認知期間として3ヶ月の猶予を持たせること。なお、その3ヶ月の期間とはカレンダー上の日付による。 「カレンダー上の日付」 とは、2月18日の3ヶ月後は5月18日であるということ。ある月の31日の3ヶ月後の月に30日までしかない場合にどうなるのか （おそらく1ヶ月を30日までとみなすのではないかと思います）、また2月の場合が問題だが、2月が28日までの場合はどうするのかということ （おそらく1日をプラスするのだと思います） が against 以下の記述ですが、私は法的な事柄に関する知識がないので、残念ながらそこの部分はこうであると断言できません。

No.1の方の訳で概ね良いと思いますが、 "Either party"は、(契約当事者の)どちら側でも というのが通常の解釈と思います。勿論"party"には政党という意味もありますが。
