Some children who have been forced to change hand dominance have symptoms such as stammering. 『利き手の変更を強いられた子供たちの中には、どもりのような症状が出る子もいる。』 この英文の中のwho have been について質問です。 なぜwho have been があるんでしょうか？ なくても英文として成立しますよね？つまり Some children forced to change hand dominance have symptoms such as stammering. としても意味は同じですよね？ だとしたら一体何のためにwho have beenはあるのでしょうか？ 同じ意味ならわざわざwho have beenを言う必要はあるのでしょうか？ 違いを教えてください。 お願いします。

ここでの have been forced は「完了」を示している現在完了の使い方で、過去の矯正が終わりその結果が現在に残っていることを示しています。 単なる (were) forced だと単純過去（の受動態）で矯正の試みはされたが完了したり、その結果が現在に残っているという明確な表現が無いので「意味が同じ」ではないと思います。

こんにちは、 Some children who have been forced と Some children forced to change では、 を強いられつづけた子供たち と を強いられた子供たち の 意味の違いがありますよね。 後者の場合、「一回でも」 forced された子が入りますが・・・・・・・

Impact damage suspected to have occurred post-delivery.
