ちょっと補足です。 makeは確かに「無理やり～させる」というニュアンスがありますが、 必ずしも嫌がっているとは限りません。 例： You make me happy when skys are grey.

ある教材に The US dollar plummeted against the yen on mounting fears of a US recession. とあり、on 以下の訳が、「アメリカの経済後退の懸念の高まりを受けて」となっていました。 この場合のonは文法的にどういう役割をするのですか。 on＋ingは「as soon as ～」と言う形ならわかるのですが、違う使い方があるのですか。 よろしくお願いします。

わからない英文があります。 苦手な英語をどうにか楽しく学べないかと考え、最近penpalをはじめました。 そこでイギリスの方とメールをするようになりました。 メールはペンパルサイトの機能を使ってしているのですが、 そこだとごちゃごちゃしていて何だかわかりづらい部分があるので 私の方から「MSNの方にメールしてもいいですか」と訊きました。 すると相手から「いいですよ」という返事の後に↓の文が続いていました。 But if your on MSN as you was yesterday, you'll find me on lol. you'll ～ はわかるのですが、その前がいまいちわかりません。 as you was yesterday というのは…？ どなたか翻訳していただけないでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします。 .
