お前が地球上の最後の人間だったとしても絶対行かないぞと強い拒否をしたのに対し じゃあ、誰もいなくなった後ならどうだい、付き合ってくれるかいとぼけた応答をのだと思います。 ｔｈａｔ は『you were the last man on Earth 』という仮定の事象を指します。 これは日本の漫才でよく使われる手で、別に地球上の最後というのは文字通りの意味を指すのではなく、絶対行かないぞという強い拒否を表わしているのに、それを文字通りに受け取った形の応答をして見せたのがジョークになっています。日本の漫才の場合はボケ役がちょっと頭が足りなくて文字通りに受け取った体を取りますが、この場合は百も承知でとぼけたのだと私は受け取りました。

以下の英文で、いくつか質問させてください。 １．"how it felt that" のthatは単なるthat timeでの指示代名詞でしょうか。後に出てくるthat other timeと並列になっているようにも見えるのですが、解説お願いします。 ２．" until ten minutes in"はラスト１０分にならないと頂上が見えないという意味だと思うのですが、この場合のinの使い方を解説していただけないでしょうか。 Camping Sucks.
