英語の勉強でわからないところがあります><!!
高校英語でわからない問題がありました。 教えてください><!!! (1)「Tell me why you were late for school yesterday.」 ~~~~~~~ ↑なぜ「a」や「the」がつかないのですか??? (2)あと、「Don't leave the door open.」 ↑どれが主語でなぜ５文型になるのかがわかりません！ (3)それと、「It is getting warmer day by day.」 ~~ ↑なぜ「er」がつくのかがわかりません！ 全部じゃなくてもいいです!!時間がある方、教えてください><!!

(1) 学校や教会など、 「使われる目的がはっきりしている場所」が その目的のために使用される場合は 「勉強のための場」 「祈りのための場」 のように、不加算名詞として扱われるので、 a も the も付きません。 上の文は、たぶん生徒に向けたセリフですよね。 ということは、その人にとっての学校＝「勉強の場」 なので、a も the も要りません。 たとえば 「いま学校を建設中である」 ならば 学校＝ただの建物なので、 We are building a school. となります。 (2) 皆さんが書かれているように、 命令文なので主語が省略されています。 leave A B で 「A を B のままにしておく」 つまり A ＝ B なので、SVOC (3) この get は「～になる」という意味ですよね。 つまり、get warm だと、「寒い→暖かくなる」 そして、get warmer だと、「暖かい→もっと暖かくなる」 上の文では day by day 「日ごとに」とあります。 日ごとに‥ということは、だんだんってことですよね。 それならば「だんだん、更に暖かくなる」 が、正確な表現だと思うので、warmer が適切です。 ご参考まで☆

(１)aやtheをどこにつけたいのかわかりませんがschoolの前でしょうか? あまりschoolの前に冠詞はつけないと思います (２)ドアを開けっ放しにするなという文ですよね Ｖがleave、Ｏがdoor、Ｃがopenです 命令文なのでＳはありません (３)getting ～erでだんだん～になるという意味になります 勉強頑張って下さいね(^O^)

(1)「Tell me why you were late for school yesterday.」 ★ a the がつくとすれば名詞だね。school か yesterday. school は late for school が【学校に遅れる】という熟語だからいらない、 yesterday は副詞に使われているからいらない。 (2)あと、「Don't leave the door open.」(You=隠れた主語=S) + leave (V=ほうっておく）+ the door (O) + open (OC=形容詞で the door の状態）だから第五文型 (3)それと、「It is getting warmer day by day.」warm (形容詞原級）→ warmer (比較級）暖かさが増している・ますます暖かくなっている。 ご参考まで。

遠距離の彼が大学を休学したと言うので 『どうして大学に戻らないの？どうして休学したの？』と聞きたいのですが Why don't you go back to school? why did you take a leave of absence at the first place?で大丈夫でしょうか？ また、 honestly I am going to do everything that makes you happy because you make me happy.に対して 『全然私の為になってない。全然嬉しくない。逆にあなたを嫌いになってる。』は It doesn't work for me at all. I am not happy at all. I even feel like leaving you..で合っていますか？
