文法的にはとんでもない間違い、でもなぜか使っている例を見かける、不自然な表現・用法ですね。 「Please use below form.」という記述をかなりよく見かけますが、そう書いている、言っている本人は、半信半疑なはずです。なぜなら、「the form below」が本来の表現であることを知っているからで、「below form」とするのはたしかに簡単・簡潔ですが、なぜか不自然に感じるからです。かりに日本人が「below form」を「口調では言いやすい」と思ったとしたら、おそらくそれはノン・ネイティブならではの語感でしょう。英語のネイティブ・スピーカーなら、「below form」に不自然さを感じて当然だろうと思います。 そのよい例が、以下のリンクにある質問です。 http://www.learnglish.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/eng/3213/Usage-of-above-and-below 残念ながら、答えは出ていません。わたしも調べましたが、専門家の見解や明確な定義にはいたりませんでした。 そこで、以下のとおり回答します。 「above」の場合は、以下のどちらも正しい。 Please use the list above. Please use the above list.（「above」を名詞の前におくのはとても自然に感じられる） なぜなら、「above」には、形容詞としての定義が明確にあるから、名詞の前におくのは自然なわけです。以下のOxford辞典に、かすかですが「形容詞」としての用法があります。「かすか」ですが、Oxfordに定義が以上は「れっきとした」使い方といえます。 http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/view/entry/m_en_us1219361#m_en_us1219361 その一方で・・・ 「below」の場合は、以下が正しい。 Please use the list below. しかし、以下のように使うのは不自然。だから誰もこういう使い方をしようとしない。 Please use the below list.（「below」の前に「the」があるとたいへん「awkward」に感じられる） そこで、なぜか事例は多いが、「below」を以下のように使う。でも、実際は不自然で不適切。 Please use below list. なぜなら、「below」には形容詞としての定義がないから、名詞の前においたら、不自然なわけです。ネイティブ・スピーカーが「おや、ヘンだな、awkwardに感じるな」と思うのは、そのためだろうと思います。 ＋＋＋ 理由としてわたしの推測は、「above」と「below」の使い方には共通点が多いので、「below」を「above」と同じように使い出したのでしょう。ただし、「Use the below form.」というのはとても不自然だし、かといって、「Use below form」も、文法的には本来間違い（「the」がついてないから）だから、会話では「Use the form below.」とするのが、本来正しいし、また無難でしょう。文章、書き言葉においてのみ、「Use below form.」が、簡潔であるがゆえに、不自然だけど使われているのだと思います。「We are open.」「No smoking」みたいな「サイン」的な表現にも見えるでしょう？ この点について、誰かもっと専門家の見解を聞いて、正解が得られるとよいと思います。 それまでの間は、「Please use the form below.」が会話でも文章でも使える表現と覚え、「Use below form.」は不自然だけれども文章として使っている人が多い表現で、会話で使うと不自然に聞こえる表現、と理解されたらよいでしょう。

use the form below が，より正確です。 use below form は，formに冠詞がないので，厳密には，正しいといえないでしょう。 ただし，口調では， use below form のほうが言いやすい。

http://dobon.net/vb/dotnet/form/accessanotherformdata.html 上記のHPを参考に、 メインクラスのForm１のtextboxにForm2から情報を代入したいのですがうまくいきません。 Form1.Form1Instance = this; のthisがエラーが出てしまいます。 「”namespace.Form2”を型”namespace.Form１”に暗黙的に変換できません」というのがエラーメッセージです。 文法には違いはないと思うのですが、何が原因として考えられますか？ そのほか、気になった点としては、クラスが知らぬうちにpartialで作られていました。調べたところクラスの分割という意味のようですがこれが原因になりえますか？
