shines throughの後なのですが前置詞かと思ったのですが、後には名詞がこなくてもいいのでしょうか？動詞isがきているので。何か省略されてるのでしょうか？

shine through ～はLight shines through the window.「光が窓から（←窓を通して）差し込む」のように用います。
one thing which shines through the window なら「窓から差し込む一つのもの」
one thing which light shines through「光がそこから差し込む何か」
この下のパターンでは through の後の名詞は one thing ということになりますが、
今回はそうはいきません。
one thing which shines の時点で which は主格となり、上のパターンになるからです。
すると、through の後の名詞が自明か、あえて言わないか、まあ、省略されていると考えていいでしょう。
「（窓か何か、それから）差し込む一つのもの」
文法的にはこのように through の後の名詞がなくなると、副詞という扱いになります。
辞書で through を確認すると副詞が見つかるはずです。
