> PDT is effective in early primary or recurrent NSCLC, resulting in a CR rate of 72%. > The incorporation of PDT in standard clinical practice, in combination with radiotherapy, warrants further investigation.

それによると、最初の試験目的(Purpose)の中で we report on the efficacy of PDT for early inoperable or recurrent non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ご質問の内容はそのObjective の中の「臨床試験結果(総括)部分 (Conclusions) のようですので、 in early primary or recurrent は、試験目的の for early inoperable or recurrent NSCLS の書き換えと思われます。 したがって、ここの日本語訳は PDT(photodynamic therapy)は、早期の手術不能、もしくは再発性のNSCLC において効果が認められ、72%のCR(Complete Response) 結果を得た。

Clinical Social Work with Maltreated Children and Their Families An Introduction to Practice 本文 The challenge to find and implement successful approaches to work with this difficult population still lies ahead of us. Although there is very little research on the outcome of treatment of abuse and neglect cases, the findings that are available are disappointing. It is not clear what models of clinical practice work with particular types of child maltreatment cases. Often practice approaches are dictated by the specific philosophy, bias, or expertise of the agency or practitioner rather than by systematic criteria. Collaboration among those involved in child maltreatment cases and coordination of services are fragmented.

Corona charging may be used for both conductive and non-conductive liquids as the droplets are charged by ionic bombardment. Triboelectrification is only effective for insulating liquids. However, conduction and induction charging are restricted to conductive and semi-conductive liquids. In both cases there is a charge flow within the liquid prior to breakup. Conduction and induction charging are often assumed to be synonymous, with the only difference being that in conduction charging the DC power supply contacts the liquid to be sprayed whereas in induction charging the DC power supply is connected to an induction electrode adjacent to the point of droplet breakup. In an ideal (i.e. well isolated from adjacent grounds) twoelectrode geometry, conduction and induction charging have the same electric field distribution except for a polarity difference. However, for a threeelectrode geometry, as commonly used in practice, conduction and induction charging are different in many respects such as the charging mechanism, electric field distribution, energy conversion and the effect of space charge. The aim of this paper is to clarify these differences theoretically and experimentally.

through most of history, however, those changes progresseed so slowly in time and spread so slowly in space that, within an individual's own lifetime, no change was visible. Hence, human historyーexcepting trivial changes through war and dymastic succession, or fantasy changes through supernatural interventionーwas viewed as essentially static. The advance of science and technorogy, however, is cumulative, and each advance tends to encourage a more rapid further advance. Eventually, the rate of change, and the extent of the effect of that change on society become great enough to be detected in the space of an individual lifetime. The future is then, for the first time, discoverd.

As studies in organizational innovation, these stories indicate why du Pont, General Motors, Standard Oil (New Jersey), and Sears, Roebuck enlarged their business, took on new functions, moved into new lines of businesses, and why each such move required a new design for administration. They trace the way in which busy executives worked out, often slowly and painfully, new methods and means for coordinating, appraising, and planning the effective use of vast and varied assortments of men, money, and materials. To make the case studies more meaningful, they are preceded by a broad survey of changing patterns in the growth and administration of the large enterprise in the United States, based on the experience of many of the largest companies. The case studies are then followed, first by a comparative analysis of organizational innovation in the four companies, and then by an estensive investigation into what other industrial enterprise accepted or rejected the new "decentralized" structure, and why and how they did so.

Children and young adults routinely use other people as information providers. In addition to asking adults outright for information at the beginning of a search, Maureen discovered that the strategy used most frequently by her teenagers to establish the projects was to ask their teachers for verification. But, educators rarely consciously set assignments that allow their charges to refine their skills in soliciting information from other people. Techniques for selecting appropriate individuals and then forming effective questions are often ignored, despite the fact that the ability to use good questioning techniques can make or break the task. Often students did badly because the person asked did not know enough about the subject. It is not only teachers who are prone to underrate the use of other people for information purpose. Few IL models attach any great importance to the matter and there may be a tendency for information professionals to jump to the conclusion that our students are information illiterate because they go to people such as friends for information instead of using sources that may be deemed more authoritative. Nevertheless, unless the teachers involved have a particular interest in information skills, there is a danger that language education at primary level will be dominated by coverage of the basics, such as speaking and listening, reading, spelling, sentence construction, punctuation and hand writing, especially if these are stressed in the political climate of the day. For the information specialist, IL is obviously a crucial area but, to teachers whose main responsibilities lie elsewhere, even at primary level it will understandably form much less of a priority.

As my investigation of organizational in these four companies progressed, several important facts became clear. First, a meaningful analysis of the creation of the new administrative from called for accurate knowledge about the firm's previous organization and in fact about its entire administrative history. Second, changes in organizational strusture were intimately related to the ways in which the enterprise had expanded. An evaluation of administrative changes, therefore, demanded a detailed understanding of the company's methods of growth. Third, these patterns of growth, in turn, reflected changes in the over-all American economy, particularly those affecting the market or demand for the enterprise's products. Finally, the reorganizations were influenced by the state of the administrative art in the United States at the time they were being carried out. The first two of these points required further investigation into the history of the four companies selected. The third and fourth called for a broader awareness of the history of the American business economy.
