これはどんな事ですか？
質問なんですが、チャットで、 相手がいまテストの勉強をしてるといっていたので ほんとはwhen isとかきたかったのを when your last tests in this week?ときいてしまいました。すると no mid test small tests, mid term tests, final quizes, homework, group work, project.. と答えてくれたのですが調べても意味がわかりませんでした。彼はどういうことをいるんですか？ Group workなどなど どんなことかわかりません ちなみに彼は大学生です お願いします

「ていうか、中間テスト（期間）なの。（ほら、やるじゃない）小テストとか、中間試験とか、力試しとか、宿題とか、グループワークとか、課題とか（そういうので忙しいわけ）」と言っているのでしょう。 とりあえず“今、どんなことで忙しいか”を羅列したのだと思います。また、こうしたさまざまなテストや提出物によって採点がなされるのでしょうから、厳密に「最後のテストが○曜日」という感じではなく、成績を付けてもらうに当たって何かと忙しい時期だ、ということだと思います。 日本でも大学ってそうですよね。高校のように「今週は毎日テストが２時間ずつあって、午前中で終わり」という感じではなく、大学では採点期間中でも教授によって、テストをしたり、授業をしたり、テスト以外の方法で採点したりします（て、私が大学生だったのは大昔の話だから、最近は違うのかな？？）。 「when your last tests in this week?」の意味がわからなかったからとりあえずそう書いたのかもしれないし、質問の意味を勘違いしたのかもしれませんが、質問の意味をわかったうえで、「決まった日がテスト最終日って感じじゃなくて、こういうことをあれこれやる時期なんだ」と言いたかったのかもしれません。

初めまして！ 昔少しだけ英語をかじっていたのでご参考までに回答させて下さい。 恐らくなのですが、ご質問者様のWhen your last tests～？と言うご質問文を学期末や卒業試験などとにかく最後のテストはいつですか？と言う意味で取られたのではないでしょうか。 それで彼は、本当に正しい訳かどうか分かりませんが、「学期の真ん中でやる小テストだよ」と答えられたのではと推測致します。 final quizes以下はテストの内容を示しているのでは・・・ 憶測で申し訳ありませんが、ご参考までに。 チャット楽しんで下さいませ☆

おそらく、ですが last test を final exam（期末試験）と取られて 「期末試験は今週なの？」と聞いたと解釈されたのでは？ なので、彼の回答が 「いや、mid test （中間テスト）だよ」となっているのでは？ 最後の羅列はちょっとわからないのですが アメリカの大学で学期中に行われるテストの種類です。 小テスト、中間テスト、期末テスト、宿題、 グループワーク（数人のグループで与えられた課題を解く） プロジェクト（単独、またはグループでこなす大きな課題）

(1)I really believe-and I've believed this f-from the beginning, not, this is not something, some revelation from the last week or so-that the tablet market would eventually surpass the PC market.
