NetBSDをVMware に入れたい

質問

VMware 2.5 に NetBSD 4.0.1をインストールしたいのですが
CDROMから起動することができません。

netbsd.vmx というファイルを下記のように記述したのですが
uuid.location のところでエラーになってしまいます。(syntax error)

基本的なことが間違っているのかもしれないですが
どこが違っているのか分かりません。よろしくご教示ください。

もしかしたらですが・・・

以下の２つの設定が、両方とも２行に分割されていませんか？
uuid.location = \"56 4d 4a 15 2a 3f 49 70-03 c9 82 f3 02 82
dc 4c\"
uuid.bios = \"56 4d 4a 15 2a 3f 49 70-03 c9 82 f3 02 82 dc
4c\"

もともと１行をコピーしたときに分割されたのではなく、
オリジナルが２行に分割されているのであれば、
それではないかと思います。

netbsd.vmx なんて直接編集した事は無く、
GUIで適当にやって、インストールできてますが、
