VMwareでFedora
VMware初心者です。根本的な質問かもしれませんが、困っております。 どなたか助けていただけないでしょうか。 VMware playerでFedora9をインストールしているのですが、いつも同じ所でエラーが出ます。 インストールするパッケージを選択する（Webサーバなのか、ソフトウェア開発なのか選択する）部分で、下記のエラーが出ます。 Your selected packages require 799MB of free space for installation,but enough available. You can change your selections or exit the installer. どうやら空き容量が足りないようですが、パーティションの部分で十分に容量は空けたんですが・・・ ご存じでしたら、ご教授いただけないでしょうか。

- VMware上のFedora8で画面サイズを変更できない
VMware Server(1.0.4)上にFedora8をインストールしました。 インストール時には特にエラーも発生していませんでしたが、画面サイズが800x600だったため、1024x786へ変更しようとしたのですがうまくいきません。該当のサイズは選べるのですがリフレッシュレートが0Hzになってしまいます。 モニタの部分にはなにも表示されていないのでGeneralのモニタを手動で設定しようとしたのですがこれも選択できません。 またWMware Toolsをインストールして #vmware-config-tools.pl でモジュールの再コンパイルをかけてみましたがこれもダメでした。 （個人的にはFedora8では必要ないかと思っています） 800x600以上のサイズに変更する方法をご存知の方、お教え頂けますでしょうか。

初めまして。 私は社会人1年目のmaiと言います。 仕事の関係でSolaris8を使っていて、現在シェルなどの勉強をしていますが、家にはWindowsXP home editionのPCしかありません。 そこで、色々調べてVMwareで仮想のSolarisサーバを作れる事がわかりました。 早速使ってみようと思い「VMware-server-installer-1.0.6-91891.exe」をダウンロードしてインストールしました。 そしてさっそく使ってみようと思い色々操作していたところ、無事にSolaris10環境の作成ができました。 しかし、問題は仮想に当てるディスク容量でした。 Solarisに6GB使用してしまい、実際XPで残っている容量が後4GBしか残っていません。 XPの「システムの復元」を使用してVMwareのインストール前まで戻したところ、アンインストールはできましたが、ディスクの使用量は変わっていませんでした。 ここから色々調べましたが、既にVMwareもアンインストール済みで操作できない状態です。。 大変困っております。 どなたか分かる方いらっしゃいましたら教えてください。 どうぞよろしくお願い致します。

VMwareを利用して、Androidをインストールしようとしています。 VMwareは以前から利用しています。Android-x86 4.4RC1.isoもダウンロードできました。 また、新規仮想マシーンもできました。Androidのインストールに入って、途中までは出来ました。 86Installation-install Android-X86 to harddisk → Enter ↓ Create/Modify partitions → Enter ↓ Newを選択 → Enter ↓ Primaryを選択 → Enter ↓ Enter ↓ Bootableを選択 → Enter ここで画面が変わらない。 何度試みても、これ以降先に進めません。 お分かりになる方、ご伝授願いたいと思います。 よろしくお願いいたします。

- centos5.4をvmwareserver上で使っています。 vmware-install.plがうまくいきません。

[/etc/rc.d] What is the directory that contains the init scripts? [/etc/rc.d/init.d] In which directory do you want to install the daemon files? [/usr/sbin] In which directory do you want to install the library files? [/usr/lib/vmware-tools] The path "/usr/lib/vmware-tools" does not exist currently. This program is going to create it, including needed parent directories. Is this what you want? [yes] The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory. What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include] これの繰り返しですすみません。 何が問題なのかわかるかたお教えください 補足ホストOSがvistaでゲストOSがcentosです。

VMware Workstation5の評価版をアンインストールしようとしたところ下記のエラーにてアンインストールが失敗します。 エラー 1316 次のファイルを読み込み中に ネットワークエラーが発生しました : C:\WINNT\Installer\VMwareWorkstation.msi 実際には上記のPathでのファイルは存在しません。 また、アンインストールが失敗する理由としては、 アンインストールする前にProgram Files上の インストールファイルを削除してしまったからだ と思われます。 アンインストールを正常に実行する解決策などは ありますでしょうか？

[VMware でのゲストのHD容量変更について] VMware Workstation Ver6 にて 仮想マシンの設定を完了し正常に稼動しています。 しかし、新規でアプリをインストールするのに、仮想ハードディスクの容量が足りなくなりました。 現在のディスクの内容をそのままにして、容量だけ増やす方法を教えてください。 容量を固定にしてありませんが、新規のアブリはCDブートにてソフトをインストールする必要があり、その時にCドライブの容量不足のエラーが表示されてしまうのです。 よろしくお願いします。

仮想ディスクは、QEMUで作成しました。 QEMUで作成したディスク容量が足りない…ということでしょうか。 試してみます。 ポイントのアドバイス、ありがとうございます。
