極めて狡猾な引っかけ問題ですね、此処のヒントは「while in office」=(在任中は)と云う言葉を知っているかどうかを問うています。 「while he was in office」が省略前です。

取り敢えず5番だけ、あっ、先日の「オプラウィンフリーの言葉」は見つかりましたでしょうか?

此処の味噌は deal with の熟語とその後に続くoffが上手く繋がるかどうかですね。
deal with a pack of cards off the bottom of the 4 cards
底の4枚のカードから離れて(切り離して)=>はそのままに(その他のカードを操る)~~~と言う意味にしました。
中々難しいですね、基本的にはso~~that構文ですが、
deal with ~~~~ off the bottom of the 4 cards が難しいです
ね、でも、ヒントは he could deal off with the bottom とすると
意味が通らないこと、、、、
時間があれば、その他の問題にも挑戦してみます。
