はじめまして。 ご質問文の the kind of rock you wantは ＝what kind of rock you want ということです。 「ロックな感じで」と言われても、どんなロックな感じなのかフィーリングがつかめないのだと思います。 ロックには、ハード、ヘビメタ、プログレ、ロック＆ブルース、などいろいろなジャンルがあります。 せめて好きなバンド名を幾つか挙げるなどして、イメージを伝えればいいと思います。相手は、お客のニーズを満足させるようなTシャツを提供したいのだと思います。わりと誠実なアーティストではないでしょうか。 show me＝tell meと同じと考えて結構です。画像を見せなくても、イメージを知らせるだけでいいと思います。 以上ご参考までに。

他のやり取りを見てないので、はっきりしたことは言えませんが、質問の文章だけから考えると相手が気分を害している可能性もあるかなと思います。（感嘆符を二つも使ってるし。）つまり、 「あなたの言う”ロック"がどんなものか教えてくれ。自分だって、ロックのことは知ってるつもりだ！！」 質問者さんの不安をあおるような回答で申し訳ありませんが、可能性のひとつとして頭に入れておいていただければ。 ただ、相手が気分を害しているのなら、そんなのは逆切れの類ですから、他のアーティストに依頼したほうがいいのかもしれませんね。

＞これはデザインにどんなものを入れて欲しいのかを聞いているのか それもありますが、もっと基本的なことかと思いました。 ヘビメタとかハードロックとかプログレ、などでデザインは違うのではないかと思うのですが。 ロックに詳しくないので、もし違っていたらすいません。

you kind of caught me of guard with some of your questions. How can I know that there are not other things you havent told me? I don't want to doubt you have given me a reason to be skeptical (wonder about it). It's difficult and kind of unfair that I developed feelings for you before you told me about it. I focus on making the best of each day and letting things happen over time. I don't think I can handle that kind of guilt. I guess I am kind of an independent spirit/person so it takes me a while to really open up and say the kinds of things that you asked me about.
