英文を日本語に直してください
Their presentation is a shock to the senses through which they interprets their style in a new way from one continent to another. 「彼らのスタイルを新しいやり方で大陸から大陸へと通訳することを通して、彼らの表現は感覚に訴える衝撃です。」 ぜんぜん意味がわかりません。 できればキレイな日本語に直したいのですが、アドバイスお願いします。 最初の「presentation」を「表現」と訳してしまってよいでしょうか。辞書にはないですが、そうすると前の文章と意味的にしっくりきます。

文法的に説明すると Their presentation is a shock to the senses. という文と They interpret their style in a new way from one continent to another through the senses. という文を関係代名詞whichでつないだものです。 Their presentation is a shock to the senses which they interpret their style in a new way from one continent to another through. でもいいのですが、throughが文末であまったように感じられるので、これをさらにwhichの前にだし、問題文ができあがるわけです。 すなわち、which以下の名詞節の先行詞はthe sensesですので、受験英語では、このことをはっきり示すように訳さなくてはなりません。すると 「彼らの表現は感覚を揺るがすが、その感覚を通じて彼らは、自らのスタイルを新しいやり方で、大陸から大陸へと通訳するのだ。」 presentationの訳は「表現」でもいいのではないでしょうか？前後を読んでいないのでわかりませんが、「表現」でもよいと思います。 「先行詞＋前置詞＋関係代名詞節」のタイプの訳は、日本語にこういう発想がないので難しいのです。 「関係代名詞節は後ろから訳しあげる」という原則をそのままあてはめると意味の通じない文になることがあります。そこで、適当な接続詞を補って、前から訳し下げるといいと思います。

○ 音楽関係の英文と解釈すれば、次のようなものになりますが・・・。 「演奏スタイルについて、それぞれの大陸（の状況）に応じた新しい解釈の仕方を行う際に基準となっている彼らの（音楽的）センスにとって、彼らの演奏は衝撃的だった。」 ※ 部分的に変更するだけで応用できるようです。ただ、この日本語訳では「Their」と「they」が指すものが異なるものになってしまうのが気になります。（それもあり得ないことではないとは思いますが・・・。）

やはり，この文だけでは判断できませんが，their presentation の方が through which の先行詞の可能性もあります。

この文だけでは presentation の意味，they interpret の they が their と同じものなのか，their style の意味することがわかりません。 前後の文があれば教えてください。 ただ言えることは，through which の部分は，先行詞は the senses なので「感覚を通じて」であり，前の部分を受けて「そのことを通じて」とはなりません。

Their presentation is a shock to the senses through which they interprets their style in a new way from one continent to another. 参考例： 彼らは、感覚に訴える衝撃的な表現をするが、それは自分たちのスタイルを大陸ごとに新しい手法（と独自の解釈）によって演ずるものである。 「presentation」を「表現」:しっくりするならそれで良いでしょう。 むしろ interprete を”通訳”とこだわらない方が。ここでは自分たちなりの解釈により演じるとすればどうでしょう。。。

彼らの公演はひとつの大陸から次の大陸へと新しいスタイルの演奏をすることを通して人々の五感（感覚）に衝撃を与えるものである。 推測で訳しました。 多分このpresentationは発表、公開、公演 と訳すのだと理解しました。 interpretsは主語がtheyなのに interpretではなくなぜ”s”があるのかわかりませんが、演奏、演出の意味もあるので、こんな訳にしてみました。 あんまり自信ありません・・・ 前後の文があるのなら、この訳で意味が通るかみてみてください。

I do not have enough information on how the economy works or politics in general to make a good decision on a political canidate.
