図書館のレフレンスコーナーで相談されましたでしょうか？ 資料を探す手伝いをし、必要なら取り寄せる仕事をするのは司書の重要な業務の一つです。まともな司書なら、図書館情報学の素養のない人が見て回ったり、検索しただけでは見落とすような本や資料を的確に探してくれるはずです。また、普通の大学であれば、外部のデータベースへの契約の窓口も図書館が行うことが多いですから、適切なデータベースを紹介してくれるかもしれません。 レファレンス窓口でどれだけのことをしてくれるかは、「レファレンス協同データベース」 http://crd.ndl.go.jp/jp/public/ などを見ればいいかと思います。 もっとも、司書資格すら持っていない図書館員も多いですから、あたりはずれもあります。そのことを割り引いても一度聞いてみる価値はあると思います。
